Let us see who's Hankos are on the documents. Guaranteed their agenda is exactly the same as the Burma military, I think they call themselves Nippon Kaigai?

Nothing unusual for Asia. You want a contract, you pay a fee. I know of two company directors who told me their companies have s special hidden budget for “obtaining” contracts.

Blood money + blood rent = bizness as usual ( no strings or principles attached). And the "foul smell" and "bad image" will still pay the rent (until it doesn't).

And Japan complains about China... not sure Myanmar is any better but maybe the Japanese thought they could have influence there through bribes. Hypocrites.

If Japan does not sever all ties to the junta then they are complicit. It's pretty simple.

At the end of the day, Japan thinks with money just like China. Strip away the facade, and the thinking's the same.

Looks like bribery! Countries like Saudi Arabia as well as Israel and conservative business people were renting out unused suites at trump’s hotel in Washington to get his favor.

Now there is no way this is real... I mean, we had posters like "GanbareNippon" saying that (while forgetting Nissan and Kirin supporting the Junta) the world should follow Japan's example!

All the Japanese investment ever committed to Mynamar will be in vain! After the coup, you know who is running the Mynamar!

This is a standard business practice everywhere, nothing unique to Asia.

Need to stop immediately. Army has no longer owned the land in Burma. Please, pay the rent to CRPH.

Japan state-funded hotel deal pays rent to Myanmar defense ministry

...and that is different from Japanese and Western investment in CCP China how? Looks like par for the course.
