If Iran has the nuclear weapon now, things will be different. Wasting years of signing that JCPOA and stopped the progress, Iran just being cowardice to act like a tough guy!

China can get much of the Iranian oil cheap, through they don't have any choice!

Only until the UK snaps back the UN sanctions. I will happen someday.

Dont misunderstood me, this is the few Japanese policy I do applauding. A bad Japan-Iran relationship is good for China's bidding of Iranian oil field exploration. Abe-San was a strong adversary competition with China over Iran's oil, he even flew to Tehran to meet Supreme leader Khameinai,rarely a western leader do that. Abe-san was gone and Japan keep frozen Iranian assets.That was stupid enough for both in a deadlock.

If you know the history of Iran, there was a coup in 1953 overthrown the Shah, the US & British spying agencies overthrown the Iranian government and placing the hateful and unpopular Shah monarchy back to power for another 25 years.

Nowhere in there does that excuse starting a nuclear program and maintaining a 40 year "death to Israel/US" policy.

Why not? Japan is also effected by iranian terror across the ME and ship seizures in the Persian Gulf.

How about Japan lead the way? I read on these very pages that Japanese auto companies decided they would not leave Russia and Japan's multi-billion dollar investment in Russian natural gas projects will continue.
