The world doesn't need another preach about New capitalism from greying country that its economy in constant decline, Japan became less attractive and significant in global stage anyway.

USA doesn’t completely control G20, so better to concentrate on USA controlled G7.
BTW, what is the foreign ministers job description? Can’t he Skype from India?

So he is going to skip an event that is supposedly very important in his functions because it is "customary" to attend something where his attendance has very limited (if any) value? This clearly shows the twisted priorities of the people in this government.

Japan's foreign minister to skip G20 in India due to Diet session
Headline can be rewritten - Japan's foreign minister to skip G20 in India due to India not joining hands with the West in isolating Russia.

Well, it's clear why Japan is not joining this meeting, even a child can understand. But just because you have the G7 presidency and your agenda is to please the West in the process of Cornering Russia, that doesn't mean the whole world is a fool and can't understand your agenda and what you're trying to do. I don't know what your position will be in the long run but I hope you don't suffer because of your false sense of justice that is borrowed from the West.
