I wonder how much the Big Boss will order to pour on the UN account.

Japan = Cash Dispenser

if only someone would come up with, I don't know, some way of being able to talk to each other from wherever you are on the planet.... then the poor politicians wouldn't have to be forever traipsing about the planet. must be exhausting for the poor things. as a bonus, they'd then be free to set an example to the rest of us by not zooming about in those silver-flying-tubes, using all those laundered towels and bedding at the hotels. and etc and etc.

Kishida, now is the time to accept that Russia is never going to negotiate in good faith as they have zero intention of returning any land they have stolen. Now is the moment to heap on every sanction you can invent as part of the international effort. Only to be removed after they withdraw from Ukraine and pay reparations, oh and return the stolen islands!

I wonder if anyone talks to Kishida san at the G 7?

Total nonsense. Japan does not represent Asia at all. Will S. Korea, China, Vietnam and dozens of countries accept Japan as their voice on Ukraine War? He is just another US puppet.

The Ukraine war is the fault of the G7, G20, G whatever, UN, all world leaders. The solution was so simple...Just freeze all contentious issues for Ten years. No NATO expansion, No threats to the security of Russia.

Zelensky has zero experience in international politics and was being used as a stooge. Now, he realize that is no NATO, no EU, just token support. Meanwhile Ukraine is being destroyed and will take decades to recover and possibly by occupied by Russia for some years on those land seized by Russia.

What has Zelensky achieved? Only destruction and being played out. He is the biggest fool.

Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida said Tuesday he will attend a summit of the Group of Seven industrialized nations in Brussels later this week to show solidarity in the face of the Ukrainian crisis.

A busy man. Over the last weekend he took a trip to India and then Cambodia.

Once upon a time G7 used to be G8 including Russia. Once upon a time Putin also considered joining NATO. It's now incredible...

Putin Says 'Why Not?' to Russia Joining NATO

time and tax money wasting thing.

completely worthless from my point of view.

What an utter farce. The vast majority of the world's population are not 'united against Russia'. No China, no India, no Brazil, no Indonesia, etc. Japan is just a US stooge, like the UK is. Forward operating bases for the Empire That Never Ended in its wars against those parts of the world which refuse to buckle under to the 'Neo-liberal rules-based global order'.

But those countries mentioned above are not united behind Russia, either. The majority of states are non-allied and more opportunistic, aiming to bandwagon to the winner side. The tide is going against Russia under Putin. Give him a single ticket to Pyongyang :)

What for? He doesn't have an army, his country has been under American occupation since WWII, he only speaks Japanese so can't communicate with other leaders smoothly, Japan doesn't have any resources of value to the Ukrainian cause, etc.

This is only a waste of taxpayer money.

I wonder if the world leaders have heard of Zoom.

There is no substitute for meeting other leaders face to face to judge their health, their mental acuity, their manner of speech and how they carry themselves. These are not things readily apparent in a video teleconference. Meeting the same person at intervals over time allows one to judge any changes, much as people recently have noticed changes in how Vladimir Putin comports himself and the changes in how he speaks.

A waste of time and our money. He'll just be a nodding dog going along with what the others decide, which could be done by video anyway.

Anyway, I miss some more realistic views and approaches. Everything comes, then everything goes and then everything disappears. That’s the normal cycle for everyone and everything on this planet, including countries and big empires. In this case here, the Ukraine. It just cannot exist autark if the ‘best’ areas like Donbas, Crimea, Black Sea coast areas and the capital area are taken, be under attack or massively destroyed, and in addition afterwards still in direct neighborhood to an aggressive and expansion oriented country. You can cry, shed some more tears or put tons of money into for decreasing that disappearing, but in the end that’s it. Come over it, it’s too late and you should accept that outcome. Still quite some better than a nuclear world war, isn’t it?

not true, it’s an ATM that accepts SWIFT transfers from selected right wing countries.

kishida should be neutral, trade with Russia and charge rent for USA bases on our sovereign land.

, No threats to the security of Russia.

Still pushing this tired narrative. Did NATO line up 150,00 or so troops with tanks and other weapons at the Ukraine border? Did NATO ever actually threaten war with Russia, or was the little Russian leader so insecure, paranoid and delusional that he imagined it? Putin apparently fantasized Nazis in Ukraine and was able to convince his ovine-like followers they were real, while denying he and his oligarchs were leading a system little different from that of the mid-20th Century's National Socialists (see English definition for 'fascism'). Russian people who blindly follow Putin after blindly following Stalin and before him the various tsars and tsarinas must have a fealty gene, one that allows despots like Putin to easily manipulate them, and others like them around the world.

The biggest problem is that Japanese People not yet realized that Japan is not a sovereign country, still an occupied country.
