One of some issues that CDP has is relations with large corporation labour union "Rengo" who still prioritizes old fashioned "anti-communist" like Mccarthyism than changing regime or improvement of real wages and life of labours.

Former CDPJ leader Yukio Edano will likely run, while some lawmakers have urged that former Prime Minister Yoshihiko Noda enter the race.

It'll be a sorry lookout for the main opposition party if those two has-beens are seriously in the running to be the next leader.
