In a realistic world amid the mounting threats of severe crisis, the FM Schaeuble shouldn't be over-suspicious on the mere currency pacts among countries outside of the Euro zone. I bet Europe would have built, and the first one to do so, fire walls to insulate impacts from other regions if they were facing the same circumstance. Meantime, the messy handling of the debt crisis in the past months unveiled the fatal weakness of a loosely managed financial Europe ! Blame yourselves !
