What exactly do they plan to about it?

"not tolerate" ???? Just hope that the north doesn't use Seoul as the test site!

Finally, East-Asia is becoming of age... The Trilateral Trade Pact needs peace to develop and bring prosperity to the whole region...

Keep banging the empty barrel, north korea will just continue to do what ever it likes and thumb its nose at whoever it chooses, threats sanctions and other meaningless measures have no effect on this feral dog state.

"And if you do the test, we will... we will.. uh, jump up and down and DO NOTHING."

China "The various parties..." have a much bigger picture in mind than North Korea. China's territoral disputes with Japan, Philippines, Vietnam and various interested parties in the South China sea is the reason for the concillatory gesture.

this conveys to north korea that they are no longer able to try and play one country off against another to their own advantage.

they are increasingly isolated, and the support of china is what prevents the situation in north korea from becoming precarious.

the simple fact that china has publicly appeared i solidarity with south korea and japan in making a joint gesture of this sort should have a significant impact on the thinking of the leadership of north korea.

I don't buy it. China won't do anything. China could single handedly put an end 'to North Korea's antics if it really wanted to.

They won't if China stops supporting them. The only reason NK is getting by is because of them.

The warning will only strengthen N Korea to become more determined to carry out further nuclear tests!! Nobody can change N Korea unless Pyongyang does something like making a bold move to reform the country's moribund communist systematic regime. Don't blame China for this..Blame N Korea's absolute stubborn kimmy regime. If anything,Seoul should bolster its own relations with 1.U.S.A. 2.Russia 3.China 4.Japan to put international pressure on N Korea instead of relying just on UN sanctions.N Korea is a trouble-maker that should be put on a death row and let kimmy's dead body rot away in their own coffin.

The 3 losers to NK manipulation!

North Korea has every rights to carry out a nuclear test that is necessary for self defence! The US,Japan,ROK allaince is waging wars and carry out drills in yellow sea and east sea as always! If you are a Korean, regardless you love or hate the communist state, when you remembered there were thousands of Korean women who were being kidnapped and raped by the Japanese army during WW2, you will considering the Japanese artrocities were 'unexcusable'!! North Korea does needs nuclear arsenals!

-2 ( +0 / -2 )

Why should China helping the west to stop the North Korean nuclear test? That was a sick joke! The US/Japan/Rok allaince is a threat to China and if they lost heavily will made overjoys for Chinese ! Was that because the United States and her allies has saved Chinese out of the Japanese occupation and China under Mao's rule fought US troops in Korean war, we have done something wrong, we made a terrible historic error and now we have an obligation to stop the North Koreans because the entire Chinese population has owed the people of America........Oh baby, I really cant stop laughing!
