And here we go. They're visiting the US to ask to be exempt from the conditions that will further denuclearization. I suppose there will be a lot of 'regrettable' and 'please cooperate' being said.

Why spend the money to come here when you've already got a perfectly good embassy about 15 blocks from the White House? I know Metro has raised rates recently, but popping down Massachusetts Avenue to 17th Street NW has STILL got to be cheaper than flying someone from halfway around the world. ;-)

Typical politicians, spend tax payers money, lots of meaningless talk and false promises, nothing gets done, a few years later, tax payers have forgotten and politicians do it all over again. Too much government, too little action. The number of Japanese actually kidnaped by NK is not so high, the people taken had no political, militarily or secret intelligence jobs just ordinary citizens in the wrong place. NK is a country run by mentally unstable politicians and military that think that they have value in the real world. In the grand scheme of things and a 1000 years from now, no one will remember who they are anyway, just a line or two in Wikipedia's archives.
