Seriously their own member nations disrespect them. 5 member nations opposes 2035 ICE cars ban. Dieselgate has its roots in EU (unworkable) emission rules....

They tout for freedom, but micromanages companies big and small, eg forcing Apple to use certain types of connectors, wasteful and dumb.

With NATO weapons and support, we can get back Korea, China, Russia, Taiwan, Philippines. They are rightfully ours! Send us heavy weapons and F-35s.

and Germany and the rest of Europe is still buying gas and Oil from Russia. And Germany vetoed Ukraine's application to Nato and Europe is still not sending heavy weapons to Ukraine

The world has polarized between the Western and Asian Democracies on one side and the Autocracies lead by Russia and China on the other. Military and Economic alliances go hand in hand, and now some 77 years after WWII ended, Japan as well as Germany are on the right side of history.

Much of the EU's trade is conducted with Asia and passes through the South China Sea. EU nations and NATO have every right to be concerned with the security situation in east Asia.
