It's an uphill battle, Japan, this is a nation that preaches hatred of the Japan and its people since very young.

Nothing else has worked in the past so anything is worth a try. Japan wants something concrete, then in order to entice Kim, Suga should offer something concrete like AgrTtech. Just be careful of the orange man trying to weasel his way into this if he sees anything that will get him the Nobel.

Typical North Korean initial response to anything. They do this to South Korea and US as well.

The U.N. recognizes NK but not Taiwan. These are dark times where the rule of despots have greater sway in the world than truth or democracy. Children were abducted, families destroyed, and lives were forever lost...

The Koreans (both countries) have reason to believe that Japan might be a future threat.
Why?
They have warred on and off for centuries-that is a lot of history to bury.
However, Suga could possibly follow on to advance peace between the two (three) countries.
It would be about time...

Really? Koreans, together with the Mongols and Chinese invaded Japan twice in the 1200s. Japan invaded Korea in the 1500s under Hideyoshi. Korea never fought Japan 1910-1945 during which time Koreans were Japanese citizens.
Most nations with a "history of war" have much more actual war history than Korea.
