It seems that being a woman with high levels of intelligence, competency and a will to make things better in anyway she can doesn’t trump the need to tear her down from our cynical resentful friends here on JT now does it?

The mindset is all encompassing. You have to wonder where the need to stick the knife into highly successful and influential people, at any given chance, comes from don’t you? It’s not hard to draw conclusions from where either.

Actually she's right. It's been proven by many scientific studies that women (and females in general) resort far less than male counterparts to aggressive (attacking) physical violence. They're also quicker sometime to resort to protective violence (of a child for example). This would lead to less wars and a more peaceful society. Thing is, even in "civilised" countries having women in charge of these matters is extremely far from the reality. Nevermind countries where women are actually given lesser rights than men.

It's about not having anything to prove in terms of looking strong. Unfortunately men always have to show strength. You could argue it isn't men's fault that this is so.

I acknowledge the longevity of Yoko Kamikawa's political service and her determination to improve gender and diplomatic activities, especially those undertaken by women worldwide.

I strongly believe that if more women were leaders of such countries as Russia, China, NK, all of the Middle East, Pakistan, and all other uncivilised barbaric places, then there would be far less (and in certain circumstances) no violence, no inter-border disputes and no terrible wars.

It is the sheer unadulterated stupidity of men and their deranged dispositions to want to take by force the lands or territories of others, for what ??

Men's blinkered view of harmonious cordiality, and their total disregard for the sanctity of every single person's human-right to a peaceful existence on this planet, will eventually be realised as the basis of the destructive and repressive forces which more than half of the world's population endures.

Does that mean more woman will automatically lead to peace in the world? Not necessarily, what it actually means that open door of opportunities to future leader despite their gender. So people will be assessed by their work result not by their age, like happening in Japan.
