Awesome idea for Japan

China shouldn't be targeted as India, Japan eye to strengthen ties on security.
Given one anti-China hardcore leader faithful to west, another flippant one often opting for fence-sitting, just leave them alone.
They can't do much..

China is a mutual adversary. Both Japan and India share concerns about China's expansionism in the Indo-Pacific.

India does not have any leftover baggage from WW2 unlike few other Asian countries.
Inspite of 2.5 million Indian troops fighting for the British during the war, most common Indians supported Japan more. Not to mention Subhash Chandra Bose who actually allied with the Japanese.
On that note, I wonder if Rajnath Singh and Jaishankar will take time out to visit Renkoji temple in Suginami ward where his ashes are kept.
They should also visit Yasukuni shrine to pay their respects to Radhabinod Pal, the Indian jurist who was the sole dissenter during the Tokyo trials.
That will rile China up surely.

Nations with similar security concerns getting together to discuss and perhaps plan for future cooperation. No doubt at some point Quad matters will arise as they overlap on security. A positive move from two of the regions leading nations.

Japan, India arranging 'two-plus-two' talks in early Sept:
Japan & India are the two main members of US-led QUAD.
What are so special about this ' 2 + 2 ' talks when they have talked times before?
The main covert agenda is, naturally, how to enhance the containment of China..
