Hilarious, coming from the leader of a nation responsible for the illegal occupation of West Papua and some 500,000 murders of the indigenous Papuans to date. Lets not forget the 800,000 East Timorese murdered during their occupation also.

Australia sends them aid worth millions and yet they can afford to purchase Su29's in amongst their seven billion dollar defence budget.

Yes. As an Australian, I have always been pretty disgusted at the way successive governments have supported Suharto and later Indonesian governments. It is embarrassing for our country. The West Papuans have never had a chance. It just shows that all talk of ethics, human rights and principles, etc. can be blown away by realpolitik.
