Oh boy, another mainstream media consumer.

Oh boy, another nut job right-wind extremist conspiracy theory consumer.

Would like to see his face if the scam is reversed and Trump declared the winner.

I’d love to see yours when you realize your team’s loser lost.

Just like your team to deny the results of a democratic election.

25 ( +31 / -6 )

My guess is Trump will go to his Lago resort for the holidays quietly and won't come back in January. He's the guy to brags and takes credit for winning, but points fingers to other people and not himself for losing. He's already selling off his helicopter.

18 ( +21 / -3 )

There is just too much fraud to ignore.

Your team most definitely has made up so much fraud in your minds that you’re having troubles ignoring it no doubt.

Now back in reality we’ve all accepted the democratically elected President elect Biden. Because the American people have shown that they think trump is a loser.

17 ( +22 / -5 )

"did not want it being misinterpreted."

How on earth could you misinterpret that? In any case, no doubt deleting the post ensures it would never be misinterpreted.

14 ( +15 / -1 )

In order to maintain a democracy, all allegations of fraud which are backed up with evidence must be dealt with. To try and ignore them is undemocratic.

You’re right. But giving any credence to a bunch of claims made with no evidence is insanity.

14 ( +20 / -6 )

So wait a couple of weeks for the claims to be dismissed.

So if I claim that there were 20 million votes for Biden secretly stolen by trump supporters everyone should wait for my baseless and evidence-less claims to be dismissed?

Yeah ok, because that’s how the real world works right? Lol.

9 ( +15 / -6 )

Tangerine: "So wait a couple of weeks for the claims to be dismissed. Wanting to rush, skip or ignore the process isn't democratic."

You should watch the compilation of Trump/Fox and others in 2016, crying about delayed processes, drawn-out court cases, Dems pushing "fraud" because their candidate didn't win, etc. Quite funny.

9 ( +12 / -3 )

Japan doesn’t have a Presidential system anyway, why does this guy think the US democracy is the model for Japan?

8 ( +14 / -6 )

It's up to the courts to decide whether the claims are baseless or not.

It’s a waste of the courts time to hear cases based on conspiracy theories without any evidence.

Sorry, but the loser lost and he’s making up conspiracy theories because he hates losers. Literally no evidence has been provided. You can believe your conspiracist theories all you want - us intellectuals work with evidence.

8 ( +16 / -8 )

Loser

8 ( +13 / -5 )

There needs to be a recount!

So I can see Trump lose twice!

In order to maintain a democracy, all allegations of fraud which are backed up with evidence must be dealt with. To try and ignore them is undemocratic.

You said it, evidence! We haven't seen any EVIDENCE! Only Trumps accusations.

7 ( +13 / -6 )

There is just too much fraud to ignore

For example? Got any hard evidence of fraud? Or are you just shooting off your mouth?

7 ( +13 / -6 )

At least have the guts to own it.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

The Minister is quite right to criticise Trump. The way this Presidential election has been conducted, and is now being groundlessly disputed by Trump and the raucous crowing of Murdoch's paid hacks, is an absolute travesty of democracy.

7 ( +9 / -2 )

It's never a waste of the court's time to deal with serious accusations

When they’re baseless with nothing to support them it’s entirely a waste of time.

6 ( +14 / -8 )

Trump is fired. He’s just a sore loser.

Every single president before him has bowed out gracefully and graciously.

He’s nothing but a lying, whining,

6 ( +11 / -5 )

Does Al Gore ring a bell ?

Margin was much much smaller that time! So your example does not apply.

6 ( +12 / -6 )

The fact that this is an election where both candidates have the received more votes than any other candidate in US history, and the fact that there is only a difference of a 10-40 thousands votes in many swings states which could change the outcome of this election, is why it is not a waste of time.

Just because it was a close vote doesn't mean there is a legal reason to challenge the result (except in states like Georgia where they are close enough to trigger a recount, but that is seperate from the lawsuits). The actual legal cases they have brought won't, even if they succeed, change the result of the election.

That's not an argument. Even if they are baseless, they need to be thrown out by the appropriate authorities.

Actually the comment you were responding to was raising a valid argument. If they are baseless, they are by definition a waste of time.

They're also not looking baseless at the moment:

https://twitter.com/cspan/status/1325924762355462151

The Tweet you linked to doesn't provide anything to support the claim, its just a quote of the press secretary asking for patience.

So let them present the evidence to the courts. If they can't do that within the next couple of weeks, their claims will be thrown out.

Its worth mentioning that there isn't anything preventing them from presenting any evidence they have to the public in addition to the courts. If they had anything of substance other than some poll observer complaining about having to stand 6 feet away, they'd have presented it by now.

So yeah, you are right that they can bring all the baseless lawsuits they want but that doesn't mean the rest of us have to go along with the BS charade.

6 ( +11 / -5 )

A lying man cannot be leader especially when he tries to manipulate the world.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

Not allowing the transition to run smoothly is damaging America. Not releasing the funds for training and transition security checks and postponing the release hurts America. Trump does not mind doing that because he really does not care about America.

There is fraud happening but it all seems to be coming from the white house. Republican counters and officials at every counting station say no voter fraud has been observed. Trump people burnt sample ballots with his name on them in order to frame democrats by video but it has been confirmed the ballots were fake/samples.

People must "Stop the steal" being attempted by Trump. He lost and Biden won. End of story.

6 ( +8 / -2 )

The loser has lost ... he will not concede, and will have to be physically removed from the White House on January 20th.

He surrounds himself with the Flag of the United States of America, a country he says he loves but appears not to.

In a campaign rally several weeks ago he stated he would leave the USA if he loses ... keep your promises and don’t let the door/gate hit you ...

Good riddance.

6 ( +9 / -3 )

I love the comment I read that Republicans only believe that the vote for the president was tampered with and there were fraudulent ballots submitted. But all of the senatorial elections that the Republicans won by small margins are all fine and there was no funny business going on with those!

You can't make this stuff up, it is so insane!

5 ( +11 / -6 )

Does anyone here actually believe these lawsuits have any merit? We went through this in 2017 when Trump couldn’t handle losing the popular vote- the Republican-led Presidential Advisory Commission on Election Integrity was rather embarrassingly disbanded without even making any preliminary findings.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

If they are baseless, they will be thrown out. What's the problem?

The fact that the courts - and given the importance of the subject matter the country and world as well - are being forced to deal with baseless claims.

4 ( +11 / -7 )

Once again, it takes a member of LDP's junior partner to say or do the right thing. Unfortunately, he was forced to delete it. But, he is still willing to talk about it, defend it, and not pretend he never said such a thing.

As for the issue of Trump and his sycophants crying foul, there is far greater proof of a far greater number of votes being prevented from being counted. 350,000 ballots did not get delivered in time in swing states because of deliberate sabotage by one of Trump's mob lieutenants, Louis Dejoy at the US Postal Service.

Happily, Trump still lost despite such overt cheating. However, it may have affected congressional races, which would be both a shame and a sham.

I hope DeJoy, and any others at the USPS who are responsible for harming that great institution and the nation it serves will have to face the consequences for such a heinous act.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

It is not surprising that DT would sink so low, but it is nonetheless disappointing. He is a person with very few redeeming qualities.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

Oh, let them pursue their frivolous lawsuits -- they're just the death throes of a dying animal.

3 ( +8 / -5 )

So you didn't watch it until the end. They list what affidavits they have already.

Yeah, that's a pathetic show of evidence if you are trying to reverse an election result. One affidavit from one worker in Michigan, and an acknowledgment that that "isn't enough" to prove anything but that they intend to go on a fishing expedition to find something that will actually stick.

3 ( +6 / -3 )

What democracy? Ha, ha, ha!

2 ( +4 / -2 )

Posted then deleted. Big man.

I am totally chuffed by Biden’s victory.

Saying that I think mister Akaba before open his mouth and criticize Trump or the american political system which after all it’s still a democracy should take a look in his own country, with basically a mono party system that regimes and control the press and with a religious semi-sect behind it willing to bring his country past to it’s former “splendor”

Easy to point at other’s problems without acknowledging it’s own.

-3 ( +13 / -16 )

Trump claims 5-6 million votes for Biden were illegal?

I wouldn’t doubt it for a minute.

-6 ( +3 / -9 )

Ok, just let the Dems take it and don’t oppose it, I see....

-7 ( +3 / -10 )

You should watch the compilation of Trump/Fox and others in 2016, crying about delayed processes, drawn-out court cases, Dems pushing "fraud" because their candidate didn't win, etc. Quite funny.

But doesn't that make it hypocritical, though? They were allowed to submit their cases and have them dealt with. Why shouldn't it be the same now?

https://www.nzherald.co.nz/world/us-election-republicans-begin-to-fall-in-line-behind-donald-trump/DMCVO6XNOPZXMIASEISO44OPTM/

Despite President-elect Joe Biden's (Alleged) victory, Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell said Monday (US time) that President Donald Trump is "100 per cent within his rights" to question election results, as Republican lawmakers fall in line behind the White House.

The Republican leader's remarks, his first public comments since Biden was declared the winner (By The Media) of the presidential election, show how reluctant Trump's allies on Capitol Hill have been to defy the President, even in his defeat.

Most Republicans are refusing to congratulate Biden, or suggest Trump should accept the outcome, even though there is no evidence of widespread voter fraud.

"Our institutions are actually built for this," McConnell said as he opened the Senate. "We have the system in place to consider concerns and President Trump is 100 per cent within his rights to look into allegations of irregularities and weigh his legal options."

The President's refusal to accept the results means the election disputes could drag for weeks as states certify their tallies or push to mid-December, when the Electoral College is set to vote.

Many Republicans have signaled a December deadline, pointing to the time it took to resolve the disputed 2000 race before Democrat Al Gore conceded to Republican George W Bush.

...

And that is where this is heading, the electoral College . some of you have only seen a handful of elections and some were too young to even remember 20 years ago.

-8 ( +1 / -9 )

and the democrats did the same thing in 2016 disputed that Trump won then , so whats the difference this time.

Let the process take its coarse , stop trying to deflect the process ! ! !

That’s why the lawsuit.

But all of the senatorial elections that the Republicans won by small margins are all fine and there was no funny business going on with those!

Because the entire country was to believe a big blue wave was going to wipe them all out and to the horrors of the Democrats that didn’t happen.

You can't make this stuff up, it is so insane

Lol

Catabolism as Western civilization further declines and devours itself. The number of us who recognise the circling vultures, or hear the soft pad of the wolves' in the shadows, dwindles every day. Be it Trump's boorish personality or the Democrat's fraudulent election, we are witnessing events that are but constituent parts of the fall of our civilization. You are all merely shouting into the wind, as am I.

-10 ( +1 / -11 )

You’re right. But giving any credence to a bunch of claims made with no evidence is insanity.

It’s a waste of the courts time to hear cases based on conspiracy theories without any evidence.

It's never a waste of the court's time to deal with serious accusations. Again, if they are baseless, they can be dismissed within days, and that will add the integrity of the result.

-14 ( +7 / -21 )

The fact that the courts - and given the importance of the subject matter the country and world as well - are being forced to deal with baseless claims.

The Sitting President is still The President, the so called president elect is in waiting and may well be waiting a long time, only to be found to be nothing more than a fraud.

Does Al Gore ring a bell ?

If the allegations of fraud and cheating are proved to be false then there is no probelm fo him and the dems, but to not want due process and the proper legal process to go through is undemocratic.

Let the Courts decide then go with their decision.

If you have nothing to fear then you have nothing to worry about.

-15 ( +5 / -20 )

The Japanese government has already acknowledged Joe Biden's victory based on U.S. media projections with Prime Minister Yoshihide Suga congratulating the president-elect and his running mate Kamala Harris.

It is neither up to the Japanese government nor the US media (AKA fake news) to decide who the winner is. This thing is far from over. There is just too much fraud to ignore.

-26 ( +6 / -32 )

"A sitting president making accusations of election fraud and insisting he will 'never give up.' Am I the only one seeing this and thinking, what kind of dictatorship is this? Where has our role model for democracy gone?" Kazuyoshi Akaba wrote

Oh boy, another mainstream media consumer.

Would like to see his face if the scam is reversed and Trump declared the winner.
