Abe, who is eager to amend for the first time the Constitution written during the U.S.-led postwar occupation, has called for adding an explicit reference to the Self-Defense Forces to ensure there is no way for them to be deemed "unconstitutional."

Re-elect Abe and let him finish his efforts to change the Constitution and remove the Article 9 limitation so Japan can build up its SDF to the level where US military forces are no longer needed in Japan and Okinawa and Japan can expand its military force presence there to fill the vacancy. Let Japan be responsible for the defense of the region instead of relying on the U.S. and its controversial presence.

Dishonourable. You're effectively discouraging youngters from joining Japanese Politics, because they know they'll eventually have to be pass the 50-year mark before they can have a chance at changing the country. Koizumi did not seek another term as party leader and effectively Prime Minister as his term limit was fullfilled in 2006.

You just sought to change that rule of 2 terms as party leader, just so it could serve to your advantage. You should honour your predeccesors by not running, and let someone else come through. You've been guiding Japan for 7 years now, 6 of them continously. To have a nation become too dependent on one person is never good.

Then who? Abe seems to be the only one pushing to remove the restrictive Article 9 and allow Japan to expand its military power that will allow the US to reduce its reliance and military presence on the mainland Japan and Okinawa. Isn't that what you folks want?

Otherwise Japan will be forced to continue to host US military presence and "occupation". You can't have it both ways.

And therein lies the problem. Abe doesn't look at the situation in front of him. Things change. You have to keep up with what's happening. Anybody can close their eyes and act like a bulldozer. That doesn't take skill.

I wouldn't want to vote for a man unable to explain nuclear new reality that would come with the article 9 change. Now, I still don't know the opposite side, but who is against nuclear ? who incarnate the view I will try to explain better next ?

Ethical Freedom

Every country is free to choose its constitution. But, there is one limit to this freedom : competences.

Japan just doesn't have the diplomacy skills to go nuclear level. This is a matter of ethic, honesty, pacific nature, efficientness...

Abe is not pacific. We know in other country like Israel or England the systematic consequences who had verified the firsts atomic's models : going backward and building wars and pressure for money & power even when everything is won.

What is nuclear ?

Nuclear is born from a collective soul kindness. You need to be a collective kind who don't even think to make war or money with this power. When we became nuclear it was for the world freedom protection and serving human civilisation. Monarchy had won nuclear power and start to blackmail France's Republic for our religious beliefs. We learnt a lot about every risks at the time and we helped creating nuclear law peace.

Yes, there was up and down in the US progress, but China show us the terrible side to try to become a peaceful adult before your time (military dictature). America was barely an adult that is why there was so many up and down, but they are trying to be the hero its people hope for.

What are the nuclear consequences ?

Nuclear is not just a technology like an another cell phone. It is a new age. So first, you need to be a republic or at least a real democracy with an opposition working power to be able to control the change up and down. There will be new ideas, new angers, new hates, new loves, new understanding, new everything so finding back your balance is hard and the process is deeply dangerous. It is scary and many people will want to go backward but it will not be possible to jump from the hyperspeed train.

To conclude

Becoming nuclear is not forbidden, but you have the right to carry this weapon only if you are a collective true non violent adult (at least, if you don't want the united nation nuclear security constant supervision, it is a bit like neo-colonisation).

As for my point of view, I don't trust japan who go by the extreme right backyard to have atomic power back or with AtomicChina going back to dictature. == This is the wrong method and wrong incentive.

The US nuclear shield is enough and this bomb in Japan would drop/weakened the best world shield. Japan would trade a good defense to a meager offensive power against a neighbour wise of few decades. == It is a very bad deal.

My advice is to meditate more and truly communicate more on the truth of the matter : Is Japan peaceful or advance enough for this kind of power you cant' even use ? Will it break the fear or create an another harder fear to break ? A bomb you can't use break hope. So what hope will be left next when everything will fail ? Space ? Here, I hope you conceive better the atomic bomb adult problem.

I don't particularly care about any of that. I just know that Abe has proved himself to be pretty mediocre at everything else and I dread to think of him or anyone else in his clique of crypto-fascist geriatrics with increased military capabilities.

But, but, democracy? Given that the arrows have barely taken flight in SEVEN YEARS, if this incompetent excuse is voted for, then the country truly deserves what it gets.

Did you see a royal english ceremony ? This is the level of the world monarchy sophistication. It is colonial. Abe is above.

He is a very intelligent man, but he is alone to be skilled.

His ideas are good. Even wanting to change article 9 is not a bad intuition. But, he found the wrongful means. He just got unluck about the timing (a bit late) and he lacks the general science skills because he lives in a monarchy and not a republic.

Bringing Japan to the nuclear weapon age is about creating a civilisation that will have on the side an atomic bomb. It needs a peaceful visionary and may be one (indeed) a bit more sophisticated. But that one in Japan tend to faint seing the real world (cultural choc). It is very hard to be Abe, but very easy to critic.
