It’s all rotten!

Japan's Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba indicated Tuesday that his ruling party would endorse members implicated in a slush fund scandal for next year's House of Councillors election, provided they explain themselves in parliament.

When the one party endorses tax dodging criminals for important positions what does that tell the many working poor who cannot even keep up with the tax burden?

Bad Move,

One way to end his leadership FAST.

Yes, that is predicted. The LDP is as usual arrogance. But the Japanese public can't do anything to stop them. That party was fabricate by the Americans and that is why Japan is still a vassal state !

Also known as the strategy of running round like a headless chicken.

LOL, ask who leaked the scandals in the first place...

Then disendorse...

Then finance as though still endorsed...

Then discover at the last (recent) election the voting public actually supported the disendorsed candidates more than the endorsed candidates...

Now plan to sweep it all up in an embarrassing parliamentary explaination...ie shelf all (cough cough bogus) inquiries, police investigations etc.

You can't make this stuff up, IMHO, the LDP need to roll whoever that's driving this, can't be Ishiba because no one would embarrass themselves like this.

Slush fundraising issues of LDP is not solved at all.

"the political ethics committee" has no penalty to perjury. Also, re-elected is never proof of innocent.

This dishonest plan is just deception that expected public lost interest to slush fund scandals until next summer.
