Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida on Monday expressed concern in a meeting with Senegalese President Macky Sall over the suffering in Africa due to Russia's aggression in Ukraine, emphasizing the invasion's role in causing a global food crisis
The corporatocracy loves disaster capitalism and shifting accountability.
How about the decades of LDP/Japan Inc. "aid" and development projects and loans to Africa?
Did locals reap most of the rewards or Japan Inc.?

Fumio did you mean ukraine mines in russian hands or what?
this clown have completely no idea what is going on.
Senegal and others understands that as long as there will be UA mines in Black Sea and will disrupt normal sailing of merchant ships-there will be issue with export of grain from UA ports. Its very simple and CLEAR so they really dont need to hear some empty talk of some corrupted clown.

Complete nonsense. Russia is a much bigger grain exporter than Ukraine, and they certainly don't use Ukrainian ports for trade. Unless the African countries participate in the pointless sanctions, they will have no problem getting the grains

Without Africa resources, the world would come to stop, the west condone the oppression of African as long as they benefits

Russia should stop using sanctions. Unprecedented sanctions by Russian are affecting all of us.

Kishida should say that in Putin's face and see what happens next.

Time to get your eyes checked. China absolutely dominates African resources extraction, because only China is shameless enough to exploit child labour, environmental destruction and macroeconomic destruction of poor nations.
As soon as the west forgave debts to HIPC countries, China swooped in and loaded them up again with debt, shamelessly, in the hope they default (and many did) and hand over controls of resources to China.
The DRC is a catastrophy in the making, Guinea also, after Nigeria....the list is inconceivable, even by the worst of western standards.

Absolutely false.
Yet,
Sall, who serves as chair of the African Union, had earlier blamed the food crisis on Western sanctions, in line with a claim made by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Japan is not China. Japan's track record is spotless when it comes to aid and respect for local cultures.
Besides, Japan has a shortage of workers, there's no need for Japan to send workers overseas to exploit like China.

Putin know these Ukrainain leaders are just as crooked as he is,lots of them share his mentality, Ukraine is a lite version of Russia, even most institute are drafted like Russia, just with a Ukrainain flare,

Absolutely 'YES' Russia is entirely responsible for food AND energy shortage. But blaming Russia alone will not change anything, Putin knows this. The freeworld would be better off choking off, or decouple, from Russia and its allies.
We are sharing resources freely in a freemarket, whilst Russia and China practices controls and weaponising trade. Stop it now, and it starts with countries like Japan, because USA corporations are too lazy to get off their backside and relieve themselves of the China supply chain.

Japan never made African suffering. And you should know that where Japan brought aid, though not enough, it has always been appreciated and welcomed.
Because now, China is helping, but just brings money and does not have any consideration for the population, looking down at them. When Japan brought aid in Africa, it has always been for real cooperation and under a long term approach
