I remember seeing exactly the same title on exactly this page in 2002 about Koizumi.

Maybe Pyongyang was actually telling the truth that they have all died already? I don’t think people over there have a very long life expectancy anyway as sad as it is.

@Ebisen
The big difference being that Koizumi actually
brought back the surviving abductees
Mr Kipling
"strong determination".... Yosh! He is not playing!

It‘s just talk. Political babbling that means nothing.

Very possible, even likely. But all it would have taken would have been for NK to present the evidence to put this all to rest. But instead they handed over false evidence. Makes no sense why they would do that. Unless some of the abdctees were not dead.

Just give up already. They're not coming back (assuming they're even still alive).
Mr Kipling
Not false but not conclusive due to deterioration of samples.

Lots of talking but not much doing…

Just the usual non-committal perseverance pledge. Should have one soon on 3.11. His administration is so backed up with the LDP funny money scandal that they don't have time for legislation. Total ship of fools who need to be voted out at every level.

@Gaijinjland NK has lied so much, there is no way anyone could believe anything coming from that country that makes it so hard to believe even if it was the truth!

Enough already!

I have an old e-mail pilling up newsletters, I can find the exact same articles about NK launching missiles into poor seaweeds (late 2000s)

Must be a massive scandal going on or an election soon to be going onto this.
Sam Watters
Must be that there is an election scheduled for the near future.

Determination, vows, pledges. It's called Kishida bingo.

Anything that comes out of his mouth is nonsense. So removed from issues that normal citizens think and worry about. It’s just drama
