South Korea needs to decide whose side they are really on. No more talking out both ends at the same time. Moon took advantage of the previous POTUS but that's not going to fly under the new administration.

Like his US counterparts, the South Korean President has a limited term of office and his successor could have a very different outlook regarding both Japan and China. If local elections are any indication his party is going to lose the next national elections in a very big way. There is a great deal of anger that a party that ran on an anti-corruption platform has had so many corruption scandals. On top of that soaring prices for apartments and condominiums and a lack of any effort by the current administration to do anything about it has cost him and his party the bulk of their support. Even younger South Koreans are voting against his party so angry are they at housing prices.
