Climate change needs urgent action. We are watching politicians rearranging the deckchairs on the Titanic right now. We all need to cut back radically on the amount of energy we use. Politicians have no interest in helping.

Ah, Japan and "as soon as possible". Ie. another 50 years or so, after asking why so many super typhoons are forming, why it's gotten so hot, and why the weather is so erratic in general. But hey, I've no doubt they'll hire some 'retired' amakudari types tomorrow to form a panel and talk about thinking about what to talk about tomorrow.

Those disposable chopsticks are made from culled forestry so it has no ill-effect to the forest and beneficial since it provides more room for healthy trees to grow bigger.
