Stop wrapping goods in layers and layers of plastic-that would be a start!

Abe talks of sweet nothings. How about concrete steps and metrics to show to the world that Japan will begin reducing plastic packaging and production? How about fines for violating standards determined by law? That's how you start Abe-chan.

"I am determined for us to work together with you in ASEAN to protect the beautiful seas, our common asset," Abe said

Eh? Abe wants Japan to protect our beautiful seas? I guess he doesn't get out much. He only needs to go to his local supermarket and see all the juvenile fish for sale to realise his statement is a load of BS. Then, he can head over to his local beach to see how much household and industrial garbage is on the beaches. The ming of lip service is spouting his guff again!

Refusing plastic bags is always my policy anywhere I go.

If Abe is serious he would bring in legislation limiting the use of plastics in Japan.
