Japan trade minister to skip RCEP meeting in Thailand

Bad idea. Japan will miss out on the groundwork for RCEP, which is more important to Japan as the US recedes.

Too bad RCEP does not include the island nations of the South Pacific. Perhaps in the future as these nations need to boost innovation.
