Nakasone responded, "With utmost respect to Your Royal Highness, I feel that there might be several relevant facts which may not have been adequately brought to the attention of Your Royal Highness."
Phillip's environmental concerns were legitimate. That his voice carries so much more weight than the environmentalists and scientists who also speak out against unnecessary development projects is not.

Can we please have some up-to-date news? Prince Philip is long gone…
Nagoyajin
Yes, the distinguished British royals are always demonstrating their entitlement by saying things they have little expertise in.
Of course, Phillip was also the same 90+ year old guy causing car accidents on empty rural roads and puzzled why they wanted him to give up driving. And the father of Epstein’s favorite wing man on the hunt for underage girls. So why he was still referred to as his “Highness” until a couple of months ago? “His Royal Lowness” is far more truthful.

He used his political and social influence to help the environment and many many other causes. I think that in itself classifies as an environmentalist. The three previous comments on this thread simply goes to show how nasty and ungrateful most human beings are! No wonder the world is in the sorry state it is. It will be a far better place when humanity makes itself extinct. I suppose you all think Sir Richard Attenborough is just an actor!

I really don't like to be irked. I hope Japan and America are doing better now.

So the prince turned out to be right. Good for him.
Rodney
The guy cared about a rare bird species but has insulted just about every indigenous race of humans?
Mocheake
Exactly. Royal racist.
Richard Gallagher
Prince Phillip. A vicious racist and arrogant member of royalty. No redeeming social value and an argument for dispensing with hereditary wealth and privilege.

I will leave it to you to show deference to this deceased scion of a rotten aristocracy who managed to express some consideration for the environment; at no cost to themselves in particular since they are, deceased, and were supported through their whole existence by an environmentally exploitative system.
He could have been exploiting Arrakis.
