Cooperation by the two countries be it on economic or military security can only be of benefit to both and to the security and balance of the world.

The rise of anti-democratic regimes around the world necessitates a greater weave of cooperation from the liberal democratic world to both protect its peoples and push back against the burgeoning threat they pose.

These two staunch U.S. Allies will have to ride out the next 4 years. Or at least do their best under the circumstances. They have much in common and mutual goals.

That's just beyond ridiculous. Anyone living here can tell you that Japan is not rich and is not getting richer. You can thank Abe and his Ahonomics -as Noriko Hama calls it- for that.
