Weird poll , first time I see China and Japan agreeing on something in the past few months!

Priorities USA earns three Pinocchios for its latest attack on GOP challenger’s Bain record. The claims are only slightly less tenuous than Romney’s boast of creating 100,000 jobs.

It is a sure thing that DPJ will lose landslide in the coming election in Japan and LDP will come back. It will be good if Romney will be elected and both of us will have business friendly leaders.

The reality is most Japanese couldn't care less about US politics and have probably only heard of Romney's name in passing. Of course they are going to say Obama when asked who they want to win, because Obama is the only candidate they know.

Yes, well, the Japanese don't have a good track record of picking effective leaders (to be fair, neither have the Americans). As for the Chinese? They don't have any record at all.

IN the next week, the Chinese Communist party will get together and put in new leaders. Where was the poll that asked the Japanese, Americans, or even the Chinese who they preferred to win?

I guess they will continue to follow the words of Stalin, it doesn't matter who votes, what matters is the person who counts the votes.

Why would anybody even waste their time conducting such a poll? Polling people on their political opinions in a country they don't even reside in especially when these people can't even vote in their own countries.

It is a sure thing that DPJ will lose landslide in the coming election in Japan and LDP will come back. It will be good if Romney will be elected and both of us will have business friendly leaders.

The LDP are so "business friendly" they ran up a national debt that's around 200% of GDP by rewarding their election campaign donors with contracts for useless pork barrel projects, e.g. bridges projected to have two thousand cars crossing over them every day that only in fact have two hundred. Japan needs the LDP like it needs mosquitoes.

I'd like to see a poll of the people of Pakistan, Afghanistan, and anywhere else who have been on the receiving end of Obama's drone attacks.

But, the only voices that actually matter are those of the US electorate, CITIZENS.

Sick of this US stuff, I'm not american, don't plan to be, I really can't wait for China to become the world's biggest economy just to shut America up.

A vast majority of Americans don't know anything about Japanese politics or any other countries politics for that matter.

Japanese and Chinese nations can not vote in US elections so who cares what they think?

Sorry Obama is the worst president the US has had ever. he is a stupid, lazy typical chicago buy votes with lots of free support for illegal alliens and the "minorities"...plus he is just plain dumb. China and Russia both want Obama to be president. That is all I need to know to tell me that ROMNEY needs to be the guy. Obama not tough at all on China and he already has told Russia he will hook them up once he gets reelected first and has "flexibility". time for CHANGE.

Most Japanese young adults I meet couldn't even tell you about the politicians standing in their own area, so not sure how much stock we should put in this survey.

That said, anyone who votes Romney and his magic stones and underpants wants checking over by a head-doctor.

Obama earned his name -peace President while Bush earned a different name - war President.. Bush doctrine of international diplomacy with no negotiations that took us into two wars.

Republicans ideology "tricle down from top to bottom" means expanding and investing on military contractors instead of spending and improving domestic infrastructures. It is important to know the difference. If America wants to stay strong, we need to restore America first, not on other countries. .

Of course Chinese people want Obama to win. They need Mitt to stay in the business of outsourcing US jobs to China. If Romney were president, he wouldn't have time to do things like forcing American workers to train their Chinese replacements before sending the jobs to China.

I was wondering when this useless poll would come out. AFP does this every 4 years. It's an ego booster, that's all it is. Now, if they overwhelmingly endorsed a third-party candidate, or if the people from the town of Obama supported Romney instead of Obama, that would be news.

There was a special interviews between Zakaria with world leaders. They all want Obama to win as they recognized Obama is a negotiator. Once the transcripts become available, I will post them for you. I just warn you a military draft system may come back if Romney becomes President. You know how easy it is to reverse it, right? Oh yeah, 'cause relaxing banking regulations worked SO well prior to Great Depression and the present financial crisis, right?

Relaxing banking regulations only does one thing: it allows banks to make more money by screwing the rest of us with obscure "innovative" (ie, fraudulent) financial products, which always leads to major financial crises. Canada is doing well right now compared to other countries because it kept strict regulations on its banks. Europe had very relaxed banking regulations thanks to neoliberal technocrats who drafted European treaties and look at how it's doing.
