Should rather instruct not to cook up the expenses which could be the main cause of errors. Show the right data.

after a magazine reported possible violations of election funding laws.
‘As usual not a mainstream news source, a magazine found out, Kishida's office had submitted 94 receipts in its campaign expenditure report with no addressee or description, 94 that’s a lot and that’s what a magazine found?
We must commit to resolving the various outstanding political issues towards the end of the year. In conclusion I'm not thinking about it at all."
Ie I have no idea what to do?
you really want someone like that with fist strike capability?
dan
Kishida- rotten to the core !
BertieWooster
Errors?
Or are we just being kind?
Numan
Is that how you say political corruption in Japanese?
Is Kishida going to bow and apologize for making it too easy to find the corruption?
Is he going to promise that the LDP's corruption will be better hidden next time?
This is Shinzo Abe's fault again!

"" 94 receipts in its campaign expenditure report with no addressee or description""
"I have instructed my office to make sure similar errors like this don't happen in the future," Kishida told reporters.
This is beginning to smell, taste & feel like what Mr. Trump did and still doing.

Think it’s time for his son (“the right man for the right job”) to step in and fix this miscommunication and get the publics understanding.

"Errors" yeah right.
Yubaru
Yeah, but now that this has come to light, how far back does it go?
I am starting to hear the sounds of the proverbial well-endowed woman warming up her pipes!

Its' always about the money with J-politics.
Bribery, donations, contributions, gifts, funding,
A never-ending circus of being caught, apologising, explaining, then doing it again!

Politician's the world over seem to have corruption in their core and spend all their time in a bubble all looking inward. They bend the rules or break them without thinking of the consequences. Uk's recent Partygate fiasco the country was on lockdown but the prime minster had a party for himself advisors and civil servants, meanwhile I couldn't celebrate Christmas or see my grandchildren

It seems that reporters and investigators only need to scratch a little and "errors" and "mistakes" involving funding and campaign money come up immediately, almost as if this was the rule and not the exception and was just not investigated properly before.

The failure of the major news outlets to carry out real investigative journalism and hold politicians to account is the most revealing aspect of this story.
That politicians and those in positions of power misuse their positions is alas an aspect of human nature (the more so if they perceive they can get away with it or suffer next to no consequences if caught) which is why public transparency and a press that holds them to account combined with a judicial system that will punish the powerful equally is fundamental to a functioning and sustainable democracy.
Fighto!
Sorry to say, but Kishida has to go. His time is up, time to give someone new a chance at achieving stability in the economy and leadership.

Never mind; there’s always the sports on to watch…

He "found............................."
Who do you think made the funds disappear in the first place?
Give me a break.

Pray tell what country has angels for politicians?

Why has nobody been arrested? Oooops, I forgot. They are Japanese.
TokyoOldMan
Replace "pressure" with "arrest".... then that may be a good outcome.

It's only going to be another third generation old LDP hack who takes over from him so he might as well stay for all the difference it makes.

So is an opposition party that offers a viable alternative to the government. These LDP made men can shrug off criticism in the Diet, they know that they can get away with brazen incompetence, apathy, cronyism and corruption because because entrenched local support pretty much guarantees them re-election. They aren't going to care what happens to Kishida, someone else will take over and their gravy train will keep on rolling just like it's always done.
