All politicians are being manipulated by one common enemy.

You do not deal with North Korea on a basis of trust. You deal on a basis of what they do and what they say that can be verified. What ever craziness might be loose among North Korean leaders, they know this: A single-shot nuclear attack on ant part of the United States would bring certain devastation down on them.

"China Daily newspaper on Friday running an editorial cartoon depicting Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe offering a Valentine’s Day rose to a dead kamikaze pilot’s skull"

How unbelievably stupid and childish. .

OssanAmerica, there was a lot of positive to come out of the meeting between Kerry and his counterparts. They are the things that people on all sides should be focusing on. Not constantly 'one eyed' bashing over some negative things to come out of part of the media.

Like what? They've repeated the same line on North Korea for years while supporting them entirely and they have done nothing to slow to stop North Korea's nuclear plans. See those heavy lift trucks carrying North Korean missiles? They are made in China, sold to North Korea as "construction vehicles" to avoid the UN sanction on selling them military goods. As for China's maritime expansion in he East and South China Seas, they have told us to take a hike. So do tell what good things have come out of these talks. And I presume you don't find that cartoon "stupid and childish"?

You do not get nothing out of China with out a price, so what I am wondering. was there anything at all accomplished? I doubt that very much and US should begin to stop taking anything China says as having any face value what so ever, because China has not sided with the US on any issues! I just can not believe the greed in Washington can trump everything else, even national security of one's own country, let alone our friends and allies!

OssanAmerica, did you actually read my post or are you so emotional about China bashing that you can't see the tree's for the forest? My comment about the negative things to come out of the media was in reference to the cartoon that was printed, so to clear that issue up I don't disagree with your comments. As for your comments about the China and North Korea situation I was referring to the positive comments that came out of the meeting between Kerry and his Chinese counterparts. You appear to be intent on living in the past and referencing historical things that have happened which puts you in a situation that you are very critical of others doing. You are so quick to condemn both China and South Korea in your posts that there is no balance in any of your arguments. It is time for everyone involved to start moving on. That will never happen when there is only one side to your argument and you consider yourself to always be right.

"China will never allow any chaos or war on the Korean peninsula"

Great! The USA can finally bring their troops home from Korea!
