If the water is safe why have they all got protective gear on?

The very fact that all are wearing masks shows just how ‘not’ under control the whole situation is

Yeh vows safety just like TEPCO did then proceeded not to raise the tsunami safety wall due to high costs...what is the cost of safety and would TEPCO and Japan be in a better if they were forced to follow safety recommendations regardless of costs!?

If Russia, China, India, The U.S. and many more are releasing their waste and or radioactive water into the ocean as claimed by many then the sea food we are consuming should be turning us into ZOMBIES by now.

We are all now at the mercy of TEPCO, it's stock holders and the LDP. All we can do is sit, wait and watch hoping it will all go well over the next 40 years assuming we will be around, our children and grandchildren will never forgive us if this release turn into a disaster.

On the "never and have never been wrong" point: this is the most studied water release in history, and it still passes the test. It will also be continuously and independently monitored by the IAEA. If you don't trust the IAEA that's up to you. Personally, I don't think there's anyone on the planet better qualified to assess this.

Japan still has a long way to go to become number one.

If a Chinese or Korean enters the organization, it will definitely corrupt.

There are many countries for that one and probably Russia is probably the number one polluter of the ocean by dumping highly radioactive waste into it. The Americans and French with their atomic and hydrogen bomb tests in the Pacific Ocean, contaminating the entire plant.

Selafield and La Hague had dumped more poluution.

I hope and pray that all nations ban any and all marine products exported from Japan and sue for any and all increases in radiation on their shores and damage to their fisheries. Japan brought this on itself -- the company that built the plant knew full well they were doing so on a fault line, it has been proved. No one can say it could not have been prevented.
