All of that superiority is evaporating quite quickly though. The U.S has spent and continues to spend far too much money in the Middle East. Its time to leave the two warring Muslim factions to sort it out among themselves. The only thing the U.S should be wary of is WMD's and an attack Israel, who to be honest, can probably defend themselves at this point. They are a nuclear power in their own right. The U.S should stick to the Pacific & Indian Oceans and focus on protecting and creating great relationships with their Asian and Oceanic allies. I would go so far as too suggest that they should even let the Europeans deal with Russia. The E.U as a bloc is tremendously wealthy with a great deal of technical expertise. They need to be encouraged very firmly to spend a greater % of their GDP on defense. A threat to slowly pull back from Europe would be a good move for the U.S
