Oh, good grief! Some people just have nothing to do with themselves.

Its not just this group. Many people nationally have been arguing about the use of tax payer money for such things. Especially when certain funds are not being allocated to tax payers because they say there isn't enough but then events like this and trips like this happen with those same limited funds.

What does the Emperor Naruhito say ?
He doesn't care apparently.

The Constitution stipulates Emperor earlier than separation of religion and state, which means the Constitution puts more importance on Emperor than the separation of religion and state. Thus, the ceremony is not unconstitutional.

Wow, I live in the US, and just when I thought that placing “under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance, that it was just us. Because a lot of people, not me though, think that’s ridiculous to take people to court over that. Now I see this, and I’m like “wow, it’s not just the US.”

Yeah, that’s a very good point. I didn’t think Japan had that problem, because as I said before a number of times on here, I live in the US, and I really know what that’s like. But either way, yeah I agree, that shouldn’t happen. So good on people to take him to court over it.
