Typical doesn't want to loose all that tax payers cash, her contempt for her own staff mirrors her contempt for her constituents, but she will probably get voted in again.

Lawmaker accused of alleged abuse of secretary willing to stay

I had to laugh when I read this. It was written as if she was asked to stay, but of course she wants to stay because it's easy money

She has a long history of abusive behaviour and clearly has issues. She needs counselling and help, far away from the high stress political world.

Abusive, intolerant, violent and denial think we might just have a new Defence minister.

Funny to see how these lawmakers, when they get caught, act like they are making some sort of sacrifice for the people of Japan in wanting to keep their elected positions.

If she actually runs again, I hope the people toss her out like a used rag!

Responsibility? Shouldn't that be groveling for forgiveness then exiting stage right.

agreed with all of the above, but you know what? wouldn't be surprised if she's re-elected. the japanese electorate's motto usually is "better to know the devil you know than the devil you don't know." sad!

I only want to ignore kind of a lawmaker she was, working hard for her reputation and showing that hysteric well-educated 'boss' to her secretary, never to imagine she will be re-elected again, no way!

That's real big of her.

I'm willing for her to lose her job.

I have always maintained that the hardest part of being a politician is keeping your job. That said, I do not think this loony witch should be fired, let the people fire her in the next election

A leopard rarely changes its spots, keep her well away to save any future embarrassment.

Politicians always say they're sorry for causing trouble, but never say they're sorry for what they did.

Please click the - button, my little stalkers.

She is a horrible woman. The interview and press conference she gave was laughable, talking in a higher pitched voice and crying. She is not fit for office.

Public servants should get the same punishment those in the workforce would get and that is to be fired. She probably realizes the is basically unhireable outside the public service so she wants to be let back in.

Any constituents from her constituency here? Have the people accepted her apology? Not defending her or anything but what is the infatuation and close ups to see tears?

The TV commentators this morning concluded her tears weren't real because when she closed her eyes hard there wasn't even enoughfor them to drop...no teardrops = not enough contrition. Give me a break.

Almost too funny for words.

change out "wiling to" for "desperate to"

Makes a tad more sense?
