LDP sets date for leadership vote

Abe will win and will come out saying, "I again have a mandate to as I wish."

We'll see a bunch of propagandish lingo leading up to the election ... then, as kyushubill says above, Abe will come out singing his usual victory song: "I have a mandate to do as I wish." And ... nothing will change despite all the publicity.

I think there will be no propaganda as there will be no competitor against him, .Just another term.

This is the kind of vote that leaders of North Korean ruling parties can expect to face.
