China will hold anything hostage, if it means getting their way.

Corporate interests have held climate concerns, social welfare, fair taxation and peace hostage for decades.
Most coming from the US and its organs like the IMF and WB.

Among all the other problems, i think is a non-issue. China and the US are supposed to make their climate "pledges" (nationally determined contributions) to the unfccc, not each other. And they are both being motivated to reduce emissions now due to lower renewable energy costs and air quality concerns.

But that is what the US has always done in the rest of the world, manipulating geopolitics to its selfish and convenient accommodation, how much impudence and lies..
They cry because an Asian country does not give in to their whims and is going to take the first place in the world from them..

This made me laugh.

The "Visit" has forced the government of China agenda out into the open.
To insidiously, with military force ii necessary impose its will across the entire region.
It is time to face the fact and respond accordingly.

They did it as a reaction

War industry is well and booming
OssanAmerica
It is booming only because of nations like Russia that invade other countries and China that threatens to. These two nations have started a global arms race.

The USA is to blame for stirring up more problems than necessary.
With the Ukraine crisis and now with the Chinese Taiwan issue.
ian
You really believe that? Those two nations started the arms race?
ian
Russia and China started the arms race so the USA and other western arms producers benefit.
ian
Anyway you of course do know that the USA is number one when it comes to invasions so you are right with the part that nations that invade other countries started it

I thought China just said they wouldn't co-operate with the U.S. on such matters as Climate change, rather than pulling out of any form of Global co-operation on that matter ? Did I misread that ?

Now, by that question, please don't take me as being defensive of China - far from it, though we do all know, that Politicians (from all sides) can stretch the truth a bit, and extrapolate a new truth to suite an agenda - even small kids do the same thing, especially if they think it will get them a more sympathetic response. I'm also not suggesting that Politicians are small kids...

The key word is the US as in, will not cooperate with the US. China as far as I know did not announce any withdrawals.
