Doesn't trump have a plan to vastly reduce American, Russian and Chinese nuclear arsenals too?

Yep: https://www.defensenews.com/pentagon/2025/02/13/trump-wants-nuclear-arms-talks-with-russia-and-china/

Seems like a win-win-win-win situation and a massive "win" for the rest of the world, except tiny countries who want more disruptive capabilities than their human or economic levels would allow.

Absurd?! Not as absurd as looking like a human version of a jelly donut.

You don't have some special right to nukes because you don't like the thrashing North Korea received in the Korean War, Kimmy Boy.

It was unwise for Ukraine to give up its nuclear warheads in exchange for protection by the UK Ireland the U.S. and Russia. They ended up with no nuclear arsenal and no protection.

DOGE will eventually get to the billions of Ukrainian aid and expose the Democrats’ scheme.

North Korea’s nuclear program contribute to peace in the region. SK and Japan should be grateful and it’s free.

Pipe down cannon fodder boy.

Taiwan...who HAS the "special right to nukes "?

No winners in the Korean War either...

Unfortunately, the result of not having a nuclear deterrent has been made very clear in recent history…

-3 ( +2 / -5 )

Of course is very absurded. Why Israel allowed to own nuclear weapons not discussed ? Why just North Korea ?

Kim looks like his grandpa.

The correct statement is they were unwise to trust russia for anything.

DOGE will eventually get to the billions of Ukrainian aid and expose the Democrats’ scheme.

The scheme of protecting a free country from heinous assault?

North Korea’s nuclear program contribute to peace in the region. SK and Japan should be grateful and it’s free.

I hope you are also grateful when SK and Japan get their own nukes and the US removes any sort of complaint.

Ideally nobody but nobody will pry it out of the russian's hands.

Why Israel allowed to own nuclear weapons not discussed ?

Israel has the good sense to keep it on the down low.

NK is largely a non-actor globally, as they just want to be left alone. So long as this is the case, then their nuke deterrence is really a non-issue.

Sure, they need to test their new military tech. like every other country. Big potential problem's WMD proliferation, so long as NK avoids that slippery slope, all's good.

NK has ambitions to join BRICS, positive engagement OK!

Denuclearising NK only makes sense if the US, Russia and China denuclearise.

Denuclearising NK only makes sense if the US, Russia and China denuclearise.

I would think it only makes sense if Israel, Pakistan and India de-nuke.

Then you would have no complaints about SK and Japan nuking up for parity I am sure.

I wonder how the North Korean leader Kim Jong Un would react to the Japan Hidankyo's call on nuclear-club nations to do away with nuclear weapons.
