No point. TPP is no longer a free trade agreement, it is being made into a politician's wet dream, with lots of rules and bureaucracy. They should quit while they are behind.

Another useless waste of time and our money. I'll bet there is more drinking and sightseeing than any real negotiation.

They should quit while they are behind. lol gee I love reading these dreamers wishing for something that is inevitable. dont pray for the TPP to fail, the odds are high it will pass. I wait for of the day when JA has to actually compete for J consumers business instead of hiding behind the taxpayer funded welfare and high tariffs. not long now.

If these TPP talks are strictly about the automotive sector in terms of mining, refining, manufacturing and exportation. I think Japan can hold its own in these TPP talks.

These TPP people always say "what is hoped will be final talks." And they always end up with yet another meeting in store. At the rate they are going, the TPP talks will still be ongoing long after the 2020 Tokyo Olympics are in the books. And by that time they'll all be will past their retirement years ... and they'll still be negotiating ... and earning big money ...

Two days? I think this is just a travel junket for the participants. A reward for trying. This must fail. It is US neo-imperialism!! There can be no restrictions of capital flow!! The next big world crash will be just around the corner.
