Opposition lawmakers say PM is 'out of touch'

A 120 year old trust fund baby who never really experienced an eighth of what the majority of working Japanese have to deal with on a daily basis, out of touch?

Out of touch, out of reach, nothing opposition can do until Sweet Sept.

Out of touch? For sure ... No different from the opposition, who also have no credible policies. Just like squabbling infants fighting over a toy. And for all of us caught in this fiasco here, Japanese and foreign, this is our lot. Makes a man want to weep. And loudly.

You can only be a polititian if your daddy was. And all nominees seem to win the election if their parent was in government! All??? Sounds a bit too lucky to me.

no one in Japanese politics have the capacity to do anything...they just bitch and moan saying that the PM is doing a bad job and nay everything that is put up to vote.

For once I would like an opinion backed up with some action or at least a counter-proposal.

Koizumi was the only PM i saw that had the pretence of being in touch with the people

what a laugh. hatoyama is just a another re-run of inbred politicians that have led Japan down this road. his grand daddy was prime minister and he is just as out of touch with the average person as asokun. i have never heard him proffer any reasonable course of action that would bring any meaningful change on any issue that is crucial at this time.
