Here we go. The LDP has been reelected despite obvious widespread corruption and favoritism practices. Now they can and will behave with impunity. And why not? The message the public gave them is "we don't care what you do." So there you have it

I saw these oyaji sitting around the table last night. Holy cow they really need to set an age limit to be in the government. Over 65 should go ahead and retire

The CDPJ are now clearly the chief opposition to the LDP and enjoy considerable public support, hence this ham-fisted attempt to silence them.

LDP would waste people's votes but never waste the power.

So when the LDP were in opposition they argued for more time. Now they are in government, they want to limit questions. Is there no end to this primary school pantomime.

The opposition also pointed out that the current ratio was set in response to an LDP request made when the now-defunct Democratic Party of Japan was in power between 2009 and 2012.

Of course...

some opposition members said the LDP does not understand democratic principles.

They clearly don't.

LDP has transformed a lot for the worse during Abe's governance! They have inevitably "adopted" Abe's personality.

The LDP has no diversity anymore, only Abe's crooked and damaged arrogant personality!:( This is looking more like the situation in China with Xi Jinping, and not like how a democracy as Japan should look like!

When you have adopted democracy, you have a responsibility to maintain the democracy. If not, Abe, change the constitution! You have the power to do so, and in your wet dream this turns to reality! This country need to wake up, and quickly!

The LDP implemented the current system when they were out of power now want to shut up the opposition... between this and the "secret" laws Japan might as well be a one party system.

after election,

Japanese Cabinet repeated "Modesty" but They are still arrogance.

Ruling Party Politicians try to use The Diet to praise Prime Minister, like dictatorship.
