as soon as became new party leader, PM Ishiba began contrary behavior to his remarks until now.

For example, He had criticized abusing right of dissolution until now. But, he used right of dissolution October without just cause.

Ishiba "Look man, I could increase the consumption tax to ten thousand percent, draft every Japanese man of military age and send them to fight FOR Russia, and get involved in a financial and personal scandal at the same time...and I'd still win the general election, so..." (thumbs nose at Noda)

Maybe it is all part of the process of beguiling the electorate so that they will actually vote the LDP back in again: "Look at how important they are." It's tried and trusted, after all. It's become a tradition.

It kind of seems silly to have all this pomp and circumstance for the new cabinet, and none of them will be in the job in less than a month! I know the country needs a government, and a cabinet, but the way each member was flashed on the TV like we had landed on Mars was too much!
