1)Strawberry needle contamination sparks federal investigation

2)Fake honey scandal widens to Australian-sourced brands

3) Needles found in supermarket grapes in Australia months after strawberry scandal

4)Disease similar to mad cow disease claims life in Queensland

A PERSON has died in Queensland after contracting a rare illness similar to mad cow disease.

Nonsense. Japan is the Leader of the TPP and will ensure the best standards in the world. No GM, No growth homone in food. iFurthermore, PM Abe has promised that no Japanese farmers will be worse off if exposed to cheaper food imports. Subsidies will be paid to protect them.

I've got a little list with all Promises Made and Broken by abe on the campaign.

Build a military base in Senkakus islands = LIE

Abe promised not to sign TPP agreement= LIE

He promised not to embrace borderless policies= LIE

Abe broke all campaign promises one after another and keep to pretend to be a conservative politician for his believers . LOL

So for taxpayers to access cheeper and broader choice of foods more tax money gets spent on farmers who can't supply cheep and varied foods? Taxpayers again are forced to pay for unprofitable businesses. It's no wonder taxes rise when the government lavish the country's income on so many quaint useless dead industries. Will we get butter, potatoes year round this year? Will the exorbitant price of rice change? Not to worry JA will get massive amounts of tax payer money to stay afloat. Who needs to be compedative when your pockets are full of unaccountable public funds.

TPP is pure poison. Actually Japan and other First World Countries has been toward lower tariffs for goods and services, TPP is all about borderless policies and weaker food safety standards.

compared to what, Japan? all the food scandals in Japan, madcow, pigflue , bird flu, foot in mouth diseases. Japan should be thankful they can now purchase quality food items from countries like Australia and NZ who have some of the strictest food standards and quarantine practices in the world, both countries have had almost zero outbreaks in the last 40yrs

Unfortunately for the other countries we have the upper hand due to a protected, agriculture and. automotive plus bearrcuracy on a lot of imported things. Other markets would find things to overpriced from our end to export.
