You're not getting your hands on Taiwan!

The Wolf Warriors are more of keyboard warriors.

Hope they don’t damage their keyboard out of frustration though, otherwise they will face a problem earning their 50 cents.

China’s Constant threatening saber rattling and rhetoric caused this issue. It is very unwise to ever threaten the United States of America.

netizens calling for stronger military and economic countermeasures against Taiwan and the United States far outnumbering voices of moderation.

Sounds fun.. yes economic counter measures will suck for a little bit, but I’m sure Americans will be fine, with our factories re-opening, and production back in the USA or a friendly country. They seem to forget how big the US economy is and how resilient most Americans are.

Americans are not afraid of China. And getting tired of their lies, threats and rhetoric.

Send a US politician or Hollywood activist every time a Chinese plane violates Taiwan's airspace. Or something else equally annoying to the CCP.

"Weibo said on Wednesday the platform crashed because its broadband capacity was overstretched."

Does anyone really believe that? I'm more of the opinion that it was hacked because it was streaming coverage of her plane's route.

what angers me is not the online clamours for 'starting a fight', 'spare the island but not its people'...(but that) this old she-devil, she actually dares to come!

Haha omg it is so funny the CCP members and paid online army exhorting the fake anger.

Calling Pelosi a "she-devil" just split my sides. What is even funnier is they do not see how the world laughs at them in their arrogance. Of course she dares to visit free Taiwan. Why should she not? Because China says not to? Please, the unmitigated gall of trying to tell the strongest nation in the world, or any other, they that can not visit a free and independently ruled and run nation is ridiculous. China does not rule Taiwan. Taiwan rules Taiwan. That means China has NO RIGHT to dictate to anyone, anything to do with Taiwan. That they do not see and agree is their problem. They make themselves a laughing stock in the eyes of the world making demands they have no right to make. They are fools and they continue to make more and more people see the light that they are evil in the extreme.

China should be ignored. China's demands should be ignored. China should be isolated, all investments removed and all foreign workers, intellectual property and contacts removed over the next couple of years. China's time is over. They stuffed up an opportunity by letting a fool gain office. Delusions of grandeur and a stupid belief that China's destiny was to rule all others, one way or another. The world will not allow it. Even Russia will not bow to China.

What a bunch of nationalist warmongers on Chinese internet platfoms. Of course we have plenty of them here on JT as well.

Looks like when Xi told tje people to "Prepare fo War" they really took it to heart. Dumb young people who know nothing about the horrors of war.

I wonder who is orchestrating that?

Anything's too much to bear for mainland China internet users.

Either invade and take back Taiwan or just shutup and recognize them as a sovereign nation. How long has China sat on the fence on this issue. Gutless and pathetic. Taiwan is not part of China. Hasn't been for at least 50 years or more.

All these Chinese nationalists getting bent out of shape as they see it as an affront to China when pretty soon they won't be able to withdraw money from their bank accounts because their 'fantastic' government won't let them. Let's see now nationalistic they are then.

Really? Taiwan it's own federal government, own currency, own military, own constitution, own passports and calls itself the ROC. Sounds independent to me. Your analogy to Hawaii is a joke.

Taiwan is part of China, like saying Hawaii is not part of the US

Hardly the same.

https://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/americans-overthrow-hawaiian-monarchy

This is six of one and half a dozen of the other. Both sides are needlessly stirring the pot.

The US announcing an official visit to Taiwan.

China getting its knickers in a twist and issuing threats that make it impossible for the US to change Pelosi’s itinerary without it looking like they’re backing down.

Both sides need a good hard slap up the back of the head.

Isn’t there enough aggro in the world without these two deliberately creating more tension?

Yup, definitely need to finally go visit Taiwan…have meant to since I first set foot on Okinawa.

ZERO interest in china.

Yet when the CCP beats them up and throws them in jail for protesting about getting their savings money back from crooked banks they grovel and say nothing to support their own. bunch of losers

LMFAO t*he CCP live streamed Pelosi's plane 22 million people watched Weibo crashed before her plane landed, leaving users in the dark for about 30 minutes to an hour before and after Pelosi stepped onto the airport tarmac. *THAT GOES ON TO SHOW YOU WHO IS IN CONTROL!!! Weibo EXCUSE the platform crashed because its broadband capacity was overstretched. NO!!! IT WAS LIGHTS OUT NIGHT NIGHT!!! I HOPE THE POPCORN WAS GOOD!!! THE US TROOPS ENJOYED THEIR POPCORN WHILE WATCHING THE CHINESE FIREWORKS!!! IT WAS A GOOD SHOW!

@Yrral I suggest you take a online geography and history class. Hawaii is a state in the US don't get it twisted or make any comparison ok, that is fact! Taiwan is Taiwan until China can take it back!!!

Miles, Taiwan is part of China, like saying Hawaii is not part of the US

I don’t doubt that the anger is real. All the more so since they know in their heart of hearts that there is ( a consonant between “D”&”G”)-all they can do about it.

The bigger issue is, now that the CCP has become the party of Chinese nationalism to retain power, how are they going to manage the Genie (since it isn’t going back in the bottle)?

2 ( +2 / -0 )

I know Hawaii is a state,it used to be an independent country, they should have to option to succeed

-5 ( +0 / -5 )

Dear China, Ms. Pelosi won't spend a week in covid quarantine either. Does that help too?

The CCP are manipulating Chinese residents over a minor thing. They do this all the time to redirect away from the failure in leadership they've shown the world. This is just symbolism on both sides. Nothing substantial will happen.

Anything's too much to bear for mainland China internet users.

Using a VPN in China is illegal. Jail time for that. All the big, non-Chinese, social networks are blocked inside China, because they won't remove true posts and the CCP can't have the truth known to Chinese people. The CCP can sensor any content on the Chinese internet they don't agree with quickly. Under 5 minutes. Educated Chinese under 35 yrs old have never heard of Tank Man or the Tiananmen Square massacre where upto 10,000 Chinese were killed by the CCP-govt in 1989. The Chinese artist, Badiucao, said this in an interview on a respected TV news show. He lives in exile now. 1 guy, creating anti-CCP art. https://www.cbsnews.com/news/badiucao-60-minutes-2022-07-31/ ... of course, this will be blocked for our Chinese friends. He can never go home to China. His family is being watched and has been used by the CCP attempting to get him to return or at least stop the anti-CCP showings.
