That's good...
Russia is busy losing a war
that putin started.
We talk later.

Cool. Tell Russia we don’t negotiate with murderers, but after they’ve mopped all the blood up, we’ll have a rethink.

well said RUSSIA!!!

Very small price to pay considering Russian genocide.

Absolutely logical step by Russian government. Also this quote made by Japan's chief cabinet secretary is quite funny: "Japan would demand that Russia engages in the annual talks..." LOL, realistically it is rather beg or beseech or sweet-talk or at least ask for permission.
There is a saying: one that steals honey should beware of the sting.

"I don't wanna be your friend any more. I'm not gonna play with you today", says the Kremlin cry-baby. No matter, the Japanese can fish in another pond until... well, as the old Russian proverb pointedly reminds: Новая метла чисто метёт (a new broom sweeps clean).

Incorrect. The Russians illegally occupy the Kuril Islands.
The San Francisco Peace Treaty signed between the Allies and Japan in 1951, does not recognize the Soviet Union's sovereignty over them.
The Russians occupy illegally occupy the Kuril Islands in violation of the The Soviet–Japanese Neutrality Pact which was signed in Moscow on April 13, 1941.

well said, the Kuril islands are Russia's sovereignty!
Kishida the hypocrite can swallow is BS sanctions....

@asdfgtr
How? Japan relinquished their claim to those islands, so by international standards, they go to the only country who claimed it at that time - Russia.
Who gets to say the Russians don't have sovereignty over those islands? The Neutrality pact is a mute point, since the SF Treaty was signed later than that Pact.

Аfter 15 packages of sanctions taken by Japan, as stated, this is a red price.

Japan has no right over Russian territory.
also, Kishida boss of Japan has waged a war of aggression against our neighbor Russia.

@Rodney
Japan is like a barking chihuahua trying to pick fights with everyone because they're lacking in some departments.

Things will be much worse for Japan once the war in Taiwan breaks out soon. The shortage of everything will accelerate through a Chinese disruption in Taiwan straight.
Russia's fishing restriction is just the start of what will come to Japan.

It truly is quite remarkable that a country as large, populated and intellectually talented as Russia only has natural resources to trade with the world. Something tells me that Japan will be just fine with a few less crabs and salmon to munch on for the next year or more.

The islands might have been returned a long time ago if Japan was not occupied by the US...

Russia has declared all kinds of rubbish that no one else sees as legal, like 'Four oblasts of Ukraine are russia for ever' and 'Russia is at war with NATO and the US'.

Once Putin loses his insane war of aggression, and gets deposed, Russia will go back to being more reasonable.

I'm talking about the bits of Ukraine that russia never took, yet still claimed were 'russia forever'.
They could have saved everyone a whole lot of trouble if they had offered those 'pro-russian citizens of Ukraine' asylum in mother russia in the first place, instead of going on a killing spree. It would have been a lot cheaper for Putin to provide them all with nice homes and jobs in russia instead of launching an illegal invasion and turning russia into an international pariah.
It's a war ye ken? Traitors are traitors. And after Bucha, Makariv, Kharkiv, Lyman, Sumy, Kupiansk. etc., etc., etc., russia is in no position to complain about traitors being killed; they were torturing and killing Ukrainian citizens in Ukraine.
And please, the three buttons. It looks like you're talking to yourself.
