Good, summon real people with the power to do something, not just right-wing lawyers.

Nothing will be accomplished by this.

The entire chaos was a carefully planned 'humilations' and insulting of all Korean people. Those LDP lawmakers knows they wont be allowed to entre RoK but still keen to kicks up the news was their motive has nothing to do with 'soverignity demonstrations' or 'expressions of Japanese hard feeling',I doubt how many Japanese people feels interest with those isles rather than their presnt hardships and frequent earhquakes! That 'gang 3' just want to draw attentions from their domestic and playing 'tough guy' to draw supports! All of these three' little lawmakers' has rightists background: Yoshitta Shindo's grandfather in law was a japanese 'war hero' who died in Iwo Jima(See the movie of :letters from Iwo Jima, japanese part), Tomomi Inada was a 'Nanjiang Masscure denying woman lawyer', Masashito Sato was a right wing militant from JSDF! All of them were running a loudsy little show to attract political donations from rightist bosses! The government of ROK should learn from the government of PRC that openly denying and refusing the Japanese law applying in east China sea like last year the trawler incident in Senkakau isles! Japan does not has the concept of 'equal and respect', they just obey power and slapping! Seoul needs a leader like PM Wen Jiabao and Chairman Hu Jintao, indeed PRC rude and assertive but thats the only 'languages' commonly understood between Beijiang and Tokyo! And that was how Asia do things in asian ways!

just-a-guy, so what can the Japanese Government do about the 3 stooges visiting Korea? Our "lawmakers" are not under the strict control of the government -cough- as they are in others. "carefully planned 'humilations' and insulting of all Korean people." dude get a grip! These guys are probably the best comedy to come out of the government sector in years. The more you make of these "gentlemen" the more they become. The one good thing is I nor anyone known to be voted for these chappies.

I can't believe my wife actually started to stick up for these idiots actions. I just decided to drop the subject before we got in a big arguement. It must be ingrained into all Japanese that those islands are thiers. I want to do some research and find out who originally occupied those islands before Japan colonised (SP) Korea. (better word would be stole or took over) For over 3 decades. Did Korea have them first? If so then why is Japan still laying claim to them after they got their butts driven back home? Am I missing something? Is it not that simple?

Why would it matter who owns it first? It's like saying the US shouldn't own America because the native Americans were there first. If you have the military might and money, it belongs to you. As long as japan has military might and money, it belongs to them.

But here's a funny question, japan has a self defense army like South Korea. Their only offensive army is the US, like south korea. So if Japan and south korea fight each other..would the US fight itself?

I hope so, it would be fun.

Yes Heythia, it is pretty ironic that two countries who still beg for babysitting by the USA think they can get tough with each other. It's just hot air.

Oh their people always say they want the USA to leave, then they end up begging them not to go every time. Grow up.

Who exactly are these people begging? Is it just a bunch of politicans? one or two people? 51% of the people? Or are you making stuff up again?
