Your lost Japan! I can imagine Kpop stars and dramas promoting the island as Koreas's. Ahem. Fans will give their sympathy on their idols no matter what!

Nasty tactics!

Korea has held the islands for 50+ years, and killed 44 Japanese over them (source: Wikipedia). Meanwhile, since they've already 'won' this one (ha-ha currency puns), they should shut up, instead of keeping the thing going. If Korea were a girl I'd unfollow her on Facebook for being so unstable.

Just when there are talks to improve ties with Japan, S. Korea gotta drop this bomb that you know will once again strain ties between the 2 again.

South Korea have an extreme case of bi-polar disorder.

Guess this is turning into a meaningless global PR battle. Edelman should love what is happening.

More like a BS battle as unlike the Senkaku Islands, Japan has not threaten to take these islands by force. Any conflict over these islands is giving aid and comfort to our mutual foes.

Pouring more money into two worthless rocks? Why not spend it on scientific research or housing the homeless? More proof that humanity is becoming stupider by the minute.

China must be happy...

Waste of money that could be better spent on the countries infrastructure. How about spending it on better plumbing for Seoul so you could throw toilet paper in the toilet instead of in a garbage bin beside it? Do they think that promoting this overseas more is going to get the rest of the world to automatically come over to their side on the issue? How do they plan to find more historical evidence than already exists?

Instead of shelling out millions, it's surprising the S.Korea government hasn't enlisted Psy to do the promotion. With his global popularity, he has a ready advantage to promote Dokdo style.
