Another day, more hatred of Japan coming from Korea. If they go ahead and start seizing Japanese assets, expect big retaliation from Japan. Tariffs, bans, visa cuts are all on the table. All Japanese companies will leave South Korea, which will badly damage their economy.

Asset seizures of Korean companies in japan too maybe.

Well another day and another classless act from a country with no class. Really, yesterday was the start of the Reiwa period. The Koreans could have waited a couple of days before doing this but that would have required some class.  Now I know what ROK stands for: Republic of  Knuckleheads.

Subsequently, the plaintiffs successfully sought the seizure of about 81,000 shares Nippon Steel has in POSCO-Nippon Steel RHF Joint Venture Co, a joint venture with South Korean steelmaker POSCO that is known simply as PNR.

Funny....Japan paid money to the South Korean government to compensate "individuals who suffered" in 1965 but the SK government used it instead to help create....POSCO. Talk about getting shafted twice over the same thing.

Japan needs to stop treating South Korea like some civilized country and instead of "hinting" at retaliation just get on with it. Only when SK business is hurt will they pressure the Moon administration to do something about this nonsense.

Civility in law and lawful civility. Japan can seek redemption from the courts. The EVIL that men do live a really long time and it sometimes bites their derrière.

Note to self: no more war crimes.

Japan won’t do that most likely because the U. S. would want its two allies to work together. It would require Abe to run it by Trump because it’s not a domestic affair. Japan and SK are on the same team and must get along.

Japanese companies should sell their South Korean assets and no longer agree to "joint" ventures. If they wish to buy quality Japanese products it is cash up front wired to a Japanese bank.

6months has already passed. What the heck are these stupid Korean lawyers taking this long to complete all the process for just cashing for? They knew it took while to properly valuate unlisted stocks in the 1st place and what kind of BS is this step by step approach? People are getting tired of this kind of bluff.

Just do it and break all the ties across SEA of JAPAN. Make it sensational for Japan's new era.

It's harsh to judge a whole nation for the stupidity of its leaders, including an independent (we think) judiciary. But that's what happens until the Korean people, the voters, themselves realize only they can bring around change. Rests the task to reform a highly competitive society where people are more focused on their own personal struggles than on geriatric politics they distrust.

Korean businesses have a lot more to lose if Japan pulls out or seizes Korean assets in Japan than Japanese do if having their assets stolen in Korea.

Dear South Korea,

It's been nice knowing you but I think this relationship isn't working out.

It's not you, it's me. No wait. It's definitely you. Completely 100% you. You're nuts.

Sincerely, Japan

P.S.

Lose my number.

Over the years, I have met many Koreans. I have never once met a Korean who has any hatred for Japan. In fact many Koreans I have met seem to have respect for Japan, and it's people.

Sadly, I have met a few Japanese people who have expressed hatred towards Koreans.

Just my own personal experience.

Having lived in Korea for two years, I can say from experience that I heard the actual phrase 'I hate Japan' quite often.
