Nonsense.

Last time I checked, no NATO member is invading a SOVEREIGN NATION.

Typical that the usual supporters of North Korea and Fascist Russia are scrambling to justify this.

Just shows what fine gentlemen Russia has as friends.

no problem SK and Japan can now make more munitions to supply Ukraine

Fighto!

Last time I checked, no NATO member is invading a SOVEREIGN NATION.

Talk about nonsense and check again - the US is illegally invading and occupying the Syrian Arab Republic right now (and plundering their oil).

And who trusts the so-called evidence of the US, who brazenly lied about WMDs in Iraq and went on to invade and slaughter millions.

-3 ( +11 / -14 )

Russia, North Korea and Iran . . . Like the Axis of Evil.

No comparison. There are no UN sanctions on weapons trade with Ukraine.

Furthermore, Russia is not only a UN member but on the UNSC.

"The United Nations’ (UN) sanctions on the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) prohibits UN member states from trading small arms and light weapons (SALW) with North Korea."

I have no doubt that NK is supplying weapons basically shells, I don't think NK has much else that would interest Russia, I makes economic sense as Russia gets quick delivery and in exchange NK gets cheap oil .

But I find it odd.

The White House released images that it said showed the containers were loaded onto a Russian-flagged ship before being moved via train to southwestern Russia.

Why would Russia and NK risk using a ship that risks being intercepted!

There is a direct train Line connecting North Korea to Russia Vladivostok then the trans-siberian line.

So I doubt those images are ammunition being loaded on ship!

But I guess they could be on par with the T32 videos from several years ago repurposed as a video supposedly showing being present times heading to battle!

You know more WMD type photos.

Q?

What's the Difference between the U.S. Supplying Israel and Ukraine with weapons, and N. Korea Supplying Russia?

Q?

Mark, as far as I can see there is a lot more similarity than difference. The only real difference I can think of is that you won't be accused of being anti-semitic if you criticise North Korea.

You do understand that Russia is the one that started that war, right?

And they did it in order to secure physical assets (land) that will enable them to defend/invade more. And for money, never forget the money.

Please tell me that you do not actually think that Russia and Ukraine are equal in terms of "blame" here?

May I ask that you take 30 minutes of your time and watch this video, and present your rebuttal (that I'm sure you have) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=If61baWF4GE

10 ( +13 / -3 )

Poor Russian soldiers- now they have North Korean junk to use.

4 ( +7 / -3 )

The two Asian countries can put out the same statement on their own. It will sound the same/carry the same meaning. But, when you chose to do it with America, it implies/carries another massage.

-7 ( +1 / -8 )

If Russia didn’t care about UN sanctions and inventions before they attacked Ukraine they’re surely not going to care about previous agreements they made. What is surprising is that they are so desperate for munitions that they would ask North Korea for help. Hopefully that means the end is near.

Sorry made up casualties from 20 years ago has no relevance here.

Talk about nonsense and check again - the US is illegally invading and occupying the Syrian Arab Republic right now (and plundering their oil).

Daily reminder that it is the SDF that pumps the oil and sells it to Assad. Also you have never mentioned that Turkey is in Syria in your life.

@La vie douce Your logic is mute when you throw bricks at glass it breaks, when it breaks and if you walk across it barefoot perhaps you can get cut!!! That's the response! The 3 headed monster Russia, China and Iran is using Palestinians supporting the Hamas (Irans hired guns) having them do their dirty work while the Palestinians are look as nothing but human fodder for their own political survival. Russia can't win in Ukraine, so they go to NK for military ammunition in return for military and satellite technology in return. China is licking its chops and prostituting Putin wanting the war in Ukraine to continue with hopes of this war spreading so that pooh bear can make an attempt on Taiwan thinking the US cannot fight 3 regional wars. Iran will just be happy to see Israel removed so that they can to control the entire middle east!!! In the end XI is looking to conquer the world by either taking territory or bankrupting poor countries by giving them loans!!! WTFU!

" South Korea, the U.S. and Japan strongly condemned what they call North Korea’s supply of munitions and military equipment to Russia, saying Thursday that such weapons shipments sharply increase the human toll of Russia’s war in Ukraine."

How about condemnation of US weapons supplies to Israel while you are at it? Or perhaps Palestinian human toll does not seem to matter so much with the White House " unconditional support " for the much stronger side in that conflict.

So Russia gets the DORK’s poorly stored moldy ammo and the DORKS get Ivan’s poorly refine crud-oil.

Truly a lose-lose deal.

-2 ( +1 / -3 )

Can we trust alleged information? Didn’t the USA say Iraq had weapons of massive destruction? But never found any. Any reason to bring up NK is becoming annoying. Either learn to become friends with them or ignore them. Get on with real problems that are happening with your own countries. Japan has so many problems of our own to deal with as does the USA.

I suppose you think the September meeting between Putin and Kim was just to exchange pleasantries? Sorry, but no amount of "Iraq WMD" gaslighting will change what is blatantly obvious. Slamming the cage door on Putie Poot is also of tremendous importance so these countries know where they are in the food chain.

What is surprising is that they are so desperate for munitions that they would ask North Korea for help. Hopefully that means the end is near.

A narrative repeated here but debunked by NY, Times and other publication.

Even MSM western media have pointed out that buying from NK has nothing to do with desperation but just makes fiscal sense!

As simple as that, NK has the stock, they use the same ammunition and NK is cheaper than producing it in Russian and it is immediately available.

It was even pointed out that Ukraine has also used NK shell's purchased by the USA from former Eastern allied countries in Africa and Asia.

Along with parts for jets, tanks etc..from the soviet era.

Remember NK was a major supplyer of replacement parts and ammunition for Soviet equipment.

Hypocrisy

No it isn't.

Mita okay for NATO to supply weapons to Ukraine but Russia allies are not. This is a war. Not a game of condemnation

Because Ukraine is the victim of invasion, and Russia is the brutal invader killing innocent Ukrainians. Naturally people will condemn anyone helping Russia continue its invasion. Because it is WRONG to invade, murder, destroy and steal territory. You think its ok to do that? Would you still think that if someone stronger than Russia invaded it to murder, destroy and steal Russian territory? Someone like China or the US? That would be ok to for you? Otherwise it is you who are being hypocritical.

4 ( +6 / -2 )

How about condemnation of US weapons supplies to Israel while you are at it?

Indeed I do. What Israel is doing is tantamount to genocide as payback to all Palestinians for the actions of Hamas. It is wrong. They need to back off and take a breath, worry about negotiating for the release of the hostages rather than the destruction of their Gaza prison.

Just like Russia is wrong in Ukraine, so too is Israel is wrong in Gaza.

@wtfjapan

no problem SK and Japan can now make more munitions to supply Ukraine

Japan is an artillery shell importer, not an exporter, due to the collapse of Japan's domestic arms industry and company exit from business.

Korea is setting up two ammunition factories in Europe, one in Poland and another one in Spain, to supply Ukraine since those ammunition are counted as European origin and not Korean origin.

-7 ( +0 / -7 )

People who think that Ukraine is winning are living in denial. They seek comfort in subjective reality and ignore all the facts.

-2 ( +3 / -5 )

@Samit Basu a small remark

Japan is an artillery shell importer, not an exporter, due to the collapse of Japan's domestic arms industry and company exit from business

Japan has no arms industry. So you can't collapse something that never existed. What there have been are small national companies, creating armaments practically in secrecy. Consequence of the existence of Article 9 and a strong rejection by the left-wing parties in the Diet. That they have blocked the existence of that remote possibility, that it could exist.

Korea is setting up two ammunition factories in Europe, one in Poland and another one in Spain, to supply Ukraine since those ammunition are counted as European origin and not Korean origin.

The Polish factory is under contract with the government. Because Germany blocked the acquisition of German-licensed weapons with sanctions. And because they were fed up, they looked for a higher bidder. South Korea.

The Spanish factory was sold by the Spanish government to a South Korean company in 2008. Because the country is technically bankrupt. And the government could not, and cannot. To keep that factory in property, because of the high public debt. 111,2% of the GDP.

North Korea is sanctioned to the max. What incentives are there for North Korea to cooperate with the US led countries? It's basic logic.

The incentive of not starving. All they had to do was give up their nukes which they don't need.

Antiquesaving made an excellent point:

Documented that the UAF have been using NK-supplied munitions and parts purchased from third-party countries by the US.

To pile on, the US sent Ukraine a huge shipment of Iranian ammunition and arms recently.

Hard to get more hypocritical than this but they'll surely do a great job.

Ukraine is the victim here and needed every soviet era ammunition they could get their hands on. Hard to get more hypocritical than trying to undercut a victimized country.

Point proved - great job on playing the victim-card.

Certain quarters employ NK and Iran munitions but point the finger at others.

North Korea is feeling big and important now that Russia came groveling for help!

-1 ( +0 / -1 )

Russia receiving aid from North Korea? Shouldn't it be the other way around? Insider, a news website, ranks Russia as the third most powerful country in 2022 in the world after the U.S. and China.

What's the yardstick to assess a country's power?

North Korea condemning U.S. providing weapons and technology to the illegal regime known as South Korea and the WWII atrocities denialer Japan !

-4 ( +1 / -5 )

If all condemnation was legitimate, and all condemnation for supplying regimes guilty of conducting illegitimate wars were bombs dropped on the guilty countries and corporations, considering what happened in Vietnam, Libya, Iraq, Yemen and Afghanistan, America would be a smoking hole in the ground!

And if hippocrisy were water, Canada would have an impossibly straight beach to its south and the north Pacific and north Atlantic would form a single ocean we would call the Underwater States of America.

Its worth pointing out that for the last few weeks we had declarations that North Korea's products were useless garbage. So why the condemnation instead of laughter?

So would Russia. You have a point besides saying all of the powers belong in the ground?

Its worth pointing out that for the last few weeks we had declarations that North Korea's products were useless garbage. So why the condemnation instead of laughter?

Even NK can make a dumb artillery shell. If they lose a few workers in the process, they have plenty of replacements.

And if hippocrisy were water, Canada would have an impossibly straight beach to its south and the north Pacific and north Atlantic would form a single ocean we would call the Underwater States of America.

America!!!! Your rage sustains me, Keeper.
