Japan has gained understanding from the Group of Seven industrialized nations on its stance on North Korea, top government spokesman Yoshihide Suga said

What does that even mean, Japan has gained understanding...blah, blah, blah? Is he saying that prior to the G7 conference the other members nations had not understood Japan's position and if so what does that say about Japan's foreign diplomacy ability. Sounds like Japan achieved nothing at the conference and PM Abe needed to show the Japanese that he actually did something as there is little good news regarding Japans economic outlook in sight. Good luck Abe and welcome to the big leagues! Better consider a new line-up of experts because your batting average ain't cutting it.
