@zichi. Kobe beef is very expensive. I can buy Japanese veggies from the Michi no eki, cheap, but from the supermarket expensive. Low quality imported Red wine is only cheap because tax is low, but a decent block of imported cheese is almost double in 2 years. Don’t get me started on avocados...
