please thumb me down if you disagree. I'm taking a survey today of how many JT posters are in the bubble.

During a tax speech in North Dakota on Wednesday afternoon, he said: ‘Ivanka actually said to me, “daddy, can I go with you?”. I like that. Everyone loves Ivanka. Come up here, honey.’

(news quote- to his 35-year old daughter)

And what bubble would this be?

He may delay coming to Japan. He has been visiting people who lost houses by Irma. He will visit Puerto Rico and Virgin Island,, too.

He will probably tweet afterwards " I went to china and the people loved me ... everybody loved me .... they were nice people... very very nice people.."

I hope he doesn't say anything stupid.

This will be the one and only time I approve of extra wasabi being served to a foreigner.

Oh great, a visit from the orange leader of the 'rogue state' of the US........

2 ( +2 / -0 )

Just like other foreign dignitaries, he will visit Kyoto, Nara. Nothing to hide. He knows Japanese people are not violent.

Unlike the deer at Nara Koen.

Buy lots of deer sembei, Donald.

Oh no, please no. What have we done to deserve this thug visiting Japan.

Put a ban on this idiot from crossing our boarder.

What a target for kim. Our Prime Minister and a President of the United States of trump.

What for? Abe is about the only leader who sucks up to Mr. Orange, and Japan behaves how Orange et al want them to. Ivanka, Melania and family will be sure to be in the entourage, and be showered with gifts and perhaps get contracts for their lines. Yes, I fear Chubby Boy in NK might cause a ruckus and try to rile two birds with one stone. I know the pres. will be impressed with the well behaved Japanese and orderliness of their transportation, industry and social systems. I only hope he doesn't tweet something innocuous to embarrass his citizens back home. The Emperor and family should call in sick for fear that Trump and his family won't know palace protocol.

It will be cold in Tokyo. He can visit Okinawa and American isolated soldiers will. appreceate.

1 ( +2 / -1 )

He'll probably schedule it during Thanksgiving.... thinking he could be here to help Japan celebrate it.

Good news! Maybe Japan will finally get an honest look at Trump outside of the deep state mis/dis information corporate globalist MSM bubble.

Case in point: a wide-reaching new studyfrom the Media Research Center finds that 91 percent of the recent coverage which aired on ABC, CBS and NBC has been negative.

In other words, Trump has already received more coverage in his first 224 days in office than Obama received in his final two years as President.

No "omotenashi" for you, mister!

3 ( +3 / -0 )

@toshiko Perhaps you misunderstand. I do not wish for Trump to come to where I live. So, I suppose Nara and Kyoto are fine too.

-2 ( +2 / -4 )

Hopefully NK doesn't nuke him while in Tokyo. This could actually be a deals galore for J businesses when he's in town

Never been in a demostration before but there is always a first time!

Speaking of scoop, at the VIP welcoming dinner, I hope the Emperor remembers to serve him two scoops of ice cream. If they put him in a good mood, maybe he'll build a Trump Tower over Toyosu and get the Tokyo government off the hook.

Pacint

Good to know you have the inside scoop on what world leaders do behind closed doors. More wonderful insight please.

6 ( +7 / -1 )

He might come but he won't see anything besides meetings, guided places and more.

In short he won"t see anything apart from what Abe wants to show = farce.

-6 ( +2 / -8 )

Dos anyone here really care?

-5 ( +2 / -7 )

Better he comes to Japan and Asia. Of cause US media will follow but they can report about Japan better than using old old reference books. CIA will protect him from belt buckle using attacker.

-1 ( +2 / -3 )

Trump should visit Pyongyang and win the Nobel Peace Prize.

8 ( +9 / -1 )

I hope he has a great experience here in Japan. There are still many of us who believe capitalism is one up on socialism.

-1 ( +8 / -9 )

Regardless of people's opinions, Trump is the president, and he is the Commander of the US Army who guards my country by treaty. I am interested in his visit, and hope that Japan and the USA have a safe rest of the year without any war or conflicts.

Awesome! Everybody will get some more wear out of their Trump mask after Halloween.

-3 ( +3 / -6 )

Can't go to England, they know how to welcome him, even 24 hrs notice is not short enough time, book a bus bag full of stones WELCOME.

-2 ( +5 / -7 )

He should come in late October instead, take part in Halloween. Scary without a costume.

7 ( +13 / -6 )

He must have gotten bored of his local golf courses

4 ( +10 / -6 )

Maybe he will be able to learn about Shinkansen and bull, et train.

0 ( +5 / -5 )

Please, don't feel like you have to...

2 ( +6 / -4 )

@Dan: Just like other foreign dignitaries, he will visit Kyoto, Nara. Nothing to hide. He knows Japanese people are not violent.

-3 ( +4 / -7 )

Oh gods no, not what any educated people's need. Can't wait for the eticate snafus. Classic

-1 ( +3 / -4 )

Please limit your visit to Tokyo.

-4 ( +5 / -9 )

China' sabre-rattling over territorial waters, North Korea lobbing missiles, and now this : (

it never rains, but it pours....

7 ( +12 / -5 )

Nixon was ousted by the leaking of the Watergate tapes.

45 will go down in history, as being ousted by the leaking on the watersports tape.

1 ( +8 / -7 )

When exactly and where, I want to make sure I'm not working. He's chickened out visiting the UK, so this will be my only chance to tell him what I think of him in person.

7 ( +15 / -8 )

I will be sure to have my quick-release belt buckle on, so I can salute his motorcade in the traditional Saxon manner.

5 ( +12 / -7 )

Does he know it's not part of Hong Kong?

10 ( +20 / -10 )

Good to hear. Hope he has a great visit.
