A bit hot today..... Trump might just melt.

We love visiting traditional Japan!

Will Abe feel free to win?

4 ( +6 / -2 )

impressed that Trump can travel so far and still look good and play 16 holes at his age.

He rode a cart! The last time he tried to walk a distance was..... decades ago. He is clinically obese so don't be too fawning in your praise.

I'll be impressed if he can pronounce Abe's name correctly, at the moment it rhymes with cabby.

After I get off a 10 hour flight I look half dead and can barely remember where I came from.

Trump didn't fly economy or even First Class, he flew on Air Force One, it doesn't get any more comfortable than that, Reckless.

I'll be impressed if he can pronounce Abe's name correctly, at the moment it rhymes with cabby.

Hey, better than pronouncing it like Abe Froman, the sausage king from Chicago, haha

It doesn’t matter if President Trump had flown to Japan on a fluffy cloud.

There is no way that he can overcome jet lag in such a short time.

President Trump is to be commended for his stamina!

that picture is giving me life

4 ( +5 / -1 )

Jet lag, give me a break! He's basically flying in an apartment, he probably slept most of the way over. And spent the rest of his time eating and being briefed on what not to say so he doesn't say too many stupid things. Then he gets to play golf and watch sumo. I would bet anything that he won't be sitting on a mat. So much for the fat man's fittest!

Less golf, more work. Didn't Donny claim, whilst he was deriding Obama for golfing, that he'd be too busy to leave the WH? Just one more lie Trumpophiles five Donny a pass on.

First time I've seen Abe smile #getaroom

Over the past nearly 40 years I can not count nor remember exactly just how many I flew, but one thing I do remember quite clearly, is that there is minimal to no jet-lag flying this way.

Nevertheless, time changes have a profound effect on the body which cannot be fully alleviated by any modern medicine.

President Trump is doing a fine job with his busy schedule.

I wish I could un-see it.

Playing golf and eating grilled meat is a good way to establish a positive relationship as long as you get down to business and setting clear agendas after the steak has settled.

The Trump/Abe connection is one of the most positive international political relationships in the world.

... I wonder if the chef will give Trump enough ketchup.

7 ( +8 / -1 )

On the menu for lunch: double cheeseburgers made with U.S. beef.

Glad to see the menu requirements were sent to Japan in advance.

Abe looks like an Ossan in that picture. He seems like a gentle grandfather.

I will be visiting the opticians tomorrow, also maybe soome stress counselling too, working some long hours, the selfie appears to present President Trump playing a round of Golf with Dustin Hoffman.

Anyway both seem to be enjoying the occasion

Numerous Japanese officials told me that the Democrats would rather see the United States fail than see me or the Republican Party succeed - Death Wish!"

Why on earth would Japanese officials say this? Are they close to Democrats? Do they know something which even the Democrats don't know about in their own country?

Making things up again, are we? Like, when so many parents of dead US soldiers in the Korean war told him to bring their children's remains back home? These parents must sure be getting on a bit by now? You'd think, if you're going to lie about something really basic, you'd do the math first.

I am impressed that Trump can travel so far and still look good and play 16 holes at his age.

I see you have a different definition of the words "look good" than the standard English-language definition.

Phuket 2: long story short, they didn’t. No Japanese official is dumb enough to say something like that when they know that the next President is likely to be a Democrat.

Once again, this is only reality in Trumps imagination.

When I first saw that photo, I thought it was an old shot of the Two Ronnies! Abe is the spitting image in it of Ronnie Corbett.

3 ( +5 / -2 )

I wouldn’t have recognised Abe.

President Trump is doing a fine job with his busy schedule.

Watching TV all day whilst binging on fast food must be taxing.

5 ( +7 / -2 )

I wouldn't have recognized Abe

He looks more like Alfred E. Neuman than Mayor Pete in this photo!

That President's Trophy is gorgeous, and the ceremony went off without a hitch.

Delighted to watch live telecast of Grand Sumo tournament via NHK Newsline and Asanoyama winning US PRESIDENT'S cup and PM Abe' trophy. Japan should make Sumo an international game and its tournaments should be held in various capitals of the prominent friendly countries.

Outstanding selfie! It captures the close personal friendship between the 2 best leaders in the World. Trump has a handicap of 2, and PM Abe off 4 I have been informed. No mug golfers.

-3 ( +5 / -8 )

I didn't recognize that guy with Trump at all until I read the story! I've never seen Abe showing such a smiley face.

1 ( +4 / -3 )

Abe is Trump's closest friend among world leaders

yikes I wouldn't want that title LOL!!

Outstanding selfie! It captures the close personal friendship between the 2 best leaders in the World.

Don't you get tired of your own schtick?

This was a good course for Trump. Be glad he didn’t receive an Honory Doctorate from Tokyo University.

I like Abe. He is so honey and comfort.

First Ladies, President Trump, Prime Minster Abe seem very relaxed....

Came late, looked bored (except for when people were taking pictures of him), couldn’t pick up the trophy by himself.

Kids, skin cancer isn’t fun. This selfie is exhibit A for sun block.
