So now when we see pictures of dead kids in the Middle East, we have to say it is also our fault. Profit over life over peace.

Or when the US military delivers relief supplies or engineering help after a natural disaster, you could say Japan has helped with that effort.

The Japanese are known for the quality in whatever they produce. Precision and adherence to tight specifications are their forte. Now the U.S. will have weapons which will hit their target within less than a meter instead of 3 meters.

Let's hope so; I've just watched a programme about when they recently bombed a hospital and killed many patients and staff, instead of their real target 400 metres away. To be fair, it was a communication breakdown problem on their part, but anything that improves accuracy can't be bad, and, given the way the world is at the moment, if Japan can cash in on the manufacturing of weapons and save some lives at the same time, it's no bad thing really.

Nothing new, but now it is in the open.
Probably to send a signal to China as a warning and to the rest of the world to say that Japan "does have" the weapons technology that can be recognized by the world and that it could be useful for them to have.
It also is a sign to "recognize" the militarization of Japan as being OK in the eyes of US and probably its closest allies elsewhere. There had to be much discussion before this announcement.

All these advanced technologies will someday be used entirely to explore deeper space,,,

Trump is going to cancel this agreement, because he's going to issue a royal edict that everything be made in America.

The only industry in USA. that was not dominated by Japan inch was weapon industry. Airplane? already majority components, Mitsubishi etch are building for them. Japan inch are too busy in USA that declined to build shinkansen and so Chinese company will make bullet train system whereever asked to build.

Japan can't admonish people about nuclear weapons and war when now they're an arms dealer interested in "lucrative markets"

^ it's not Abe's doing, it's his Washington puppet master's doing. Abe himself couldn't organise an orgy in a brothel.
